"Please Check Network Connectivity" - Log in problem

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 6:09 am

I keep reading about people doing these obvious (or at least aforementioned) things and thus fixing the issue. Makes me feel even worse, because I've tried everything, but haven't been able to log in even once. :(

Bought the game on Thursday. I have yet to successfully get online, not even once. Network connectivity problem every single time. Using onboard Realtek PCIe GBE to Actiontec DSL gateway via Cat-5. I thoroughly enjoyed the single player on my Xbox 360. Bought it for PC for the online play, I have no interest in Xbox Live! If thats not bad enough I'm afraid to play even the single player on PC because of the nano point dissappearing problem Ive read about. Very disappointing.

On a positive note, in my opinion, the single player is fantastic. Superior in many ways to Crysis and Warhead. Crytek should be proud of making a great game.

Hurry up and fix the bugs!

i purchased this game before its release on steam, enjoyed single player, only a couple of complaints here and there but nothing game breaking just immersion breaking (i.e. things floating in midair, shadow flickering, etc.). i was really looking forward to multiplayer, in fact i decided to hold my money and purchase this game INSTEAD of black ops, but this network connectivity issue is making it so i cannot play what i felt was going to put black ops to shame, the multiplayer.

So angry right now, had this game since release date and have yet to see a fix to play online.

Wish I could refund this game, no excuse for this "next-generation" bs they cram down our throats. Its 2011 and we are still having connection issues?

I'll never put my money with this company again.

I had this problem originally, but managed to sort it by disabling the Email Scanner in my antivirus, strange i know but ive tested it on and off and it is definatly that.

Hope this can help a few.

I've tried every solution on this thread, nothing have worked so far. Disabled all firewalls (windows and the one in router). I've tried connecting via the wireless and cable network. Tried disabled sharing etc. Out of ideas, your move Crytek.

Wenn bei der 1 bei euch eine andere Verbindung steht müsst ihr diese in den Netzwerkverbindungen Deaktivieren! (2)

Englisch:

If one stands with you in a different connection you have to disable this in the Network Connections(2)

Check: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=14764 This is the Solution

Tried this, all it seemed to do is make the check network connectivity error show up faster (instead of waiting 15 seconds after clicking login and getting the error, the error would show up right after I clicked login). I guess its possible that I missed an important step, as the English translation was a bit shaky, but it doesn't seem to be the fix for me.

This "solution" only works ( not always ) for those with any another connection/network connection ( wireless, 3g, etc ). For me and for another folks that have only one connection type and nothing for share, don't work, not even have the second tab. As I told before, this is FAILTEK job, not ours to find a solution for their server issues...

Ok, I'm having this same problem too. I just bought the game today specifically for multi-player only to find this dreaded message. I have tried the 'fixes' mentioned in the topic, read all the way through it with no such luck. I have tried it on a few different connections, same error. I can't disable sharing as I don't have an option too. Ports are open, blah blah blah.. Guess I'll just have to wait. Hopefully they find a solution soon. It's pretty depressing spending your money on something and then not having it work. ;(

Hi guys!

I was having the same issue since I purchased the game. But I found a fix to it. I don't know if it will work for everyone but now I can log in. My problem was I have two ethernet connector on my motherboard Local Area Connection 1 and 2. I'm plugged on the second connector and I don't use the first connector and it was stated as unplugged. I think the game was trying to log in via the first connector since it was not disabled. What I did is unchecked the boxes for sharing option and disable the Local Area Connection 1 (the one unplugged). Since I disabled the first connector I have no more the "network connectivity" error message and I can log in.

Hope it will help some of you.

Having the same problem. The funny thing is: I was able to play MP just fine yesterday. Tried logging in now and then this happened.

Guys, make a test, please, everyone getting "connectivity error", make this command on cmd.
tracert 69.10.30.242 and after ping to the same ip, and you'll see you dont get answer.

For me, after the 20 jump fails till 30, that means I cannot reach the destination for log in. Tried the same thing with my notebook with 3G connection and was just fine.
Let me know about the results.
