I pre-order this game and get this game on March 23 but i could not play MP until April 1.Just on April 2 i logged in and played MP a few days.
But now it comes back, i thought 1.2 patch will do some changes,But the fact shows that it was useless.
I could say nothing but WTF!!!!!(Forgive my terrible English)

I have now the same problem. I had already played the game in MP but now it stops with this stupid message. Nothing changed so far. I hoped the patch would fix it but it doesn't!!

I saw, that there were posts about the "disable and enable your sharing of the network connection" (e.g. the posts made by neston on page 50).
I use an alternative launcher for this problem, because I have to perform this workaround after every second or third boot process of my pc.

Well, after testing it for some time I dare to say that issue still exists only doesn't popup so often.

It used to be 95% of cases I got this issue, now I get it about 20%. Still exists, though not as annoying as it used to be.

Is it good? NO.
Is it better? Yes.
Am I happy? Partially - now AT LEAST I can play the game, but I still CANNOT play it normal, like any other game.

games dont usually work through VPNs... just play at home.

Well, using Hotspot I was able to "connect" BUT, again and again, the problem with gamesas account still hauting... so, since the demo I never played not even a second of the MULTIPLAYER!

Yesterday I had this problem Diabreu account gamesas.
What I did to resolve the hostpot reseted several times to find a valid IP to login to and managed.
But it's full of pirates, hacks etc.. gets boring playing until the game knowing that 80% of players use hacks: (

Still getting this error even on 1.2, I have to restart my computer to access multiplayer and its annoying. Wish Crytek would hurry up and fix this.

For the people that live on university campus, you need to call your IT service there and ask them to open the ports, my game works now and it took my school a week to get back to me and open the ports so I will no longer be posting in the forums. I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully crytek or your campus IT will fix the problem for you

has anyone fixed the problem, and if so, how.

i am at home, hardwired to modem. turned off homegroup and filesharing. Used to be able to play but cant now.

Same problem as everybody since day 1. This shouldn't be too hard to fix. I guess I'll play starcraft until it's fixed....

Man, it's been what? 2 weeks since release? I still can't play online and Im sure many of you guys here cant either. Really getting disappointed about Crytek, and EA, well that's a given.

I feel cheated out of my money really. Sure the SP was good, but I'd like to play some MP. Don't see how they could not have fixed this issue, when it already persisted in the demo. Not being an ass or anything, but if people who pirated the game can go online, why the hell did I just pay 60$ to play online, only to find out that there is login issues with the legitimate copy? *sigh* Hard earned money, swallowed by conglomerate companies like EA.

Just a couple of days ago, all ravbotalo even played the online game.
And again I see this message. With what all this is connected? With server overload? Well, that game advances there, and that because of these problems compound, I would still play offline passed.

Guys, forget about this game... lets play another thing, I'm tired to try to have answers to my questions, and nothing, company like this don't deserve to have customers...
