"Please Check Network Connectivity" - Log in problem : Crysis

Just installed the game on the PC in the next room. It uses the same internet connection, system (Win 7 x64) and software (mostly, though the fundamentals are the same). Much to my surprise, I DID NOT get the Network Connectivity error there. This is mind-boggling. I've NO IDEA what the problem is.
It's a pity that that computer isn't really meant for gaming (and not my own). I hope Crytek doesn't just abandon fixing this over the weekend. Care to clarify that, Cry-whatnot?

So, Aravan are you under a router, am I right? If does, there's no logical explanation for it. Jesus... do something Cry-Someone! Enough with the "we're are checking this issue, in the future we'll probably solve it".

I was able to play mp yesterday. but now the "connection error" occurs as well. seems like this bug is completely random, not only for some people, but also for some games! allthough i played it, it kicked me out every few minutes because of "connection failure to server".

For me the connection error occurs since the very start of the demo, so, i have no idea how the MP works, only by videos...

i forgot to say that i've downloaded the demo as well..... i had this connection error in the demo too!!! somehow the error disappeared for one day

my multiplayer experience is very limited, i only played a few minutes. i've been kicked for some (random) causes, so i stopped playing.

well. ive got a real weired problem.

i can see servers, but i cant connect to any of them.

when crysis refreshes the server list my internet goes down! i cant browse anymore, nothing! first i thought its a coincident, but it happens everytime i try to play multiplayer.

windows firewall does not block crysis, i can see servers in the list. im also behind a router but i dont think thats a problem, because i can see the servers. i just cant connect to anything.

well, and my internet connection goes down, when i try to play multiplayer. did i mention that? thats **** up, sry. some good pr there crytek.

Killmachine, this problem has no relation with network connectivity, there's another topic talking about it. But, anyway, is only one more problem for FailTek solve...

yesterday (while mp worked for me :D ), i've seen many servers which didn't start the game after minutes of waiting. in the meantime, try singleplayer -> one of the best games i played for a long time!!

@killmachine8: your whole internet connection goes down after playing crysis? browsers too? that's weird!

@Crytek-Team: is there no workaround to get into mp-game without patch?

AYUDAAA!!!! no puedo entrar al modo multijugador dice "se ha producido un error comprueva la conectividad de la red" cuando inicio le di permitir coneccion puse mi user mi pass y mi key pero no conecta, desabilite el firewall y el antivirus y nada, luego me cambien de windows 7 ultimate 64bit a 32bit y sigo sin poder entrar al modo multiplayer que debo hacer? prove hasta en xp

Same problem with the "network connectivity..." for me as well. This is also my second huge problem with Crysis 2 (the other one is insane flickering).

So what to do? Im actually clueless on this one. For the graphic problem i have a temporary fix, but for this one i dont know. Havent been able to log in even once. What ive done so far is disabling the windows firewall, connecting the modem (otherwise im on a router). Tested with wireless connection..etc. Nothing have worked so far.

Bought the game so i would be playing, not sitting on forums and search for fixes, this really svcks. Why even bother buying....

Just trying to logging in again, and nothing changed, no magic done... I'm gamer since 9 years old ( today 29 ) and this time for sure, is the only one that I really regret have bought a game...

I said this earlier, but for me, bridging my wireless connection with my LAN, and then using my wireless connection pre-dominantly fixed the problem, that being said, I do have to switch back to using my wired connection any time I wanna torrent or anything like that. I really think the issue is something to do with crysis 2 not accepting a wired connection.

This video did the trick for me, I just had to fiddle around with it for a bit. I will also note that i'm not on campus, I was having trouble with my home network
