Bombard Tom and Adam with PMs please, it's the only way to get a response.

Supposedly they are looking into it:

Just tried with another DSL Company and worked. As I told, route error... our companies should fix or Gamespy do it... otherwise, you have problems with firewall or ports. Now, route problem is much more harder to solve.

I just wish they could hurry up and fix this network problem. I've finished the single player and apart from a few nano catalyst glitches it was awesome. :D

I loved it.

Now all I want to do is play the multiplayer and i can't do that unless someone fixes this problem.

So please, please, please, please fix this network connectivity problem.

^^This

At the moment there seems no point in replaying the sinlge player due to the nano catalyst problem and the multiplayer is totally inaccessible to me.

Don't know if this will help you or not but refer to my post after the one you quoted. If you have a peer blocker this may not be allowing the HTTP to come through. Cheers

I also have this problem. I've tried disabling firewalls etc. but nothing's worked so far. I used to be unable to connect to Left 4 Dead 2 games as well, but a few months ago this changed - presumably the network code was patched. Would be nice to play some Crysis 2 multi...

Very Very strange.... VERY strange. No response, no patch...

Well, I'd say the patch will come in like...lemme see.... 12-14 of April. I'd put my money on that. I work in IT, and I know how 'hot fixes' are being dealt with these days... 2 weeks guys... at least 2 weeks.

I followed a guide somebody posted here back a few pages (I am sorry but can't remember the name) and it fixed a problem I had with multiplayer, the one that I was getting kicked after 5-7 minutes upon joining a server. What I did is to set my ip as static and the go the router's page and opened the DMZ for my pc. I also opened all firewalls and finally I am able to stay in a server as long as I want without getting kicked. Thanks for helping.

Guys let me explain, once and for all:

If you can access the site login.gamespy.com you have no problem with route, you're fine to play, since you disable sharing for multiple lan's/wireless, open few ports in your modem, disable/allow the game on the firewall, disable/allow the game on the antivirus.

NOW, if YOU CANNOT access the site login.gamespy.com you have a SERIOUS problem and probably you'll never be able to play this game, because the GAMESPY SERVER is on the blacklist of your DSL Provider Service.

Am I right, Cry-Someone? SAY SOMETHING!

I don't have any control over my firewall. What's the likelihood the netcode with be changed to make it easier on strict NATs?

Sleepy, did you put it on DMZ state, and can you just disable your firewall? How's your NAT state, moderate or restrict?

Dirty, do you have some problem with your brain? How can possibly a patch solve problem with route, AND we don't have to wait for nothing, the problem persist SINCE THE DEMO. Ok!?
