"Please check your network connectivity" possible fixes

Post » Thu Jun 02, 2011 10:34 pm

1.Add Crysis 2 in your firewall exceptions list
2.Change the order of network protocol bindings Tutorial
3.Disable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) - Tutorial
4.Select Default Internet Connection From Multiple Connections Tutorial
5.Bridge connections - Video Tutorial
6.You modified the hosts file (C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)?
Make sure you don't have these lines there.

127.0.0.1 gpcm.gamespy.com
127.0.0.1 gpsp.gamespy.com
127.0.0.1 gamestats.gamespy.com

If the lines are there, delete them, then open cmd and type ipconfig /flushdns

My problem was caused by the hosts file!

Dont have time to read all the forum's posts, but 1) i can get into gamesas's forums only with my nick (not with email) 2) fix for "An error has occurred. Please check..." for me was to disable sharing my internet on other connection (it's strange, because i could play before)

If you still have connection problems after you disable internet connection sharing, try to bridge connections.

It's clearly an issue on their end

First I couldn't login, then I randomly could, now I can't again.

Nothing changed on my end, its their fault.

As I told in the original topic about this problem, if gamespy is blacklist state in your DSL provider, this will not work. Maybe using proxy to change the route, but thanks man.
