"buying a powerfull computer that run crysis 1 its to much money" now and days you can buy a $599 PC that can play Crysis on a good frame rate with high setings, it is not 2007 hallo? Crysis came out in 2007------->2011 so play it "the way it's meant to be played" -NVIDIA

Considering that a single frame in C2 has about a 1/4 of the polygons as crysis 1 on consoles and still only runs ~25fps that's a big no.

You do know that its impossible to port or make crysis 1 for consoles right? Crysis 1 on Cryengine 2 allows players to have a large amount of freedom in making decisions eg many routes to take when approaching an objective. Crysis 2 on cryengine 3 is very restrictive compared to crysis. The map isn't very big and textures are in lower quality. Even if you are thinking of crysis 1 on cryengine 3, the amount of memory involved to compute physics and the whole map textures will be enormous.

I don't think they are interested in doing that, besides its not like the game was totally unplayable at release, a computer to run it now isn't that much of a problem

I think the closest thing to Crysis 1 on consoles will be people remaking/porting the crysis 1 missions into the Cry engine 3. Assuming that the SDK is released to public of course.

But Crysis 1 on consoles? I think it's safe to assume that is never going to happen.
