Why will someone from crytek not respond and tell us one way or another if this is going to happen - are they afraid prospective PS3 buyers who need triggers will shy away if crytek say it isnt happening?

yeah um, I just wanted to shoot with R2 and aim down sight with L2 kinda like an XBOX controller. There is no way they are gonna add playstation move support. If you want to play a game with move support, or even motion controller your gonna have to pick up a Sony 1st party title.

Maybe the mods on this forum are mods only and have no sway with the devs? in which case we are wasting our time - but surely Crytek would want feedback and listen to what their customers want and need?

Yes Please. of course im used to the defualt controls. but the option is needed.

I will never be used to the default controls it feels so awkward to go from pushing L2 for shield and moving upwards to aim down sight, rather than hitting L1 for shield and moving my finger down to L2 to aim down sight, it feels more natural when at a fast pace to go down rather than clinch my hands up.

Seriously Crytek, fix this control scheme and the lag/host determination and you got a beautiful multiplayer game at least on the PS3 side. Can't comment on other platforms since I have yet to play.

I agree, I paly on PC but I tried the PS3 one, and I was always pressing the triggers to shoot not to go into armour mode haha.

I am not sure about flipping them, but I wouldn't mind being able to alter the controls in the options menu.

You want to make the game's controls act more like those on the Xbox which isn't bad I suppose.
A good suggestion though none the less.

I like the controls how they are at the moment, I don't think they cater for everyone though.

Yes all I'm asking for is the option. Sadly the 1.02 update didn't include this. I've been requesting this since the beta. Any comment from the developers would be nice on this.
