Please Crytek make a PS3 controller option to flip L1L2&R1R2 : Crysis

Picked up the game this weekend ~ would love the option to play "Alternative" buttons - with L2/R2 as Aim/Fire.

LOL you cant be serious they gave you guys the Xbox 360 control setup? I use a Ps3 Controller to play on the PC, and the first thing I had to do was re map those stupid trigger buttons to fit a normal ps3 setup. Thats just wrong giving ps3 users the xbox setup for controls.

L1 and R1 are for the old times of FPS.. the PS controller is so outdated. Crysis 2 needs to add this option please. I hate feeling like I'm playing a game from the 90's or some **** on PS2.

No, the new patch, version 1.02 does not include this controller option.

So CryAdam left a comment on my other post directing me here, yet did not make a comment on my requested controller configuration. Please, I'm curious to know if Crytek going to put this simple fix in a future update/patch for Crysis 2 PS3?

finally got used to use to shooting with R1 im surprised they didnt make trigger button R2 anyway. zito we need to party up bro.

Seriously, I mean, I'm so used to playing with L2 and R2 on FPS. The first time I played this game was at my friend's house (he downloaded the demo). The controls were perfect. And now with the fact that we can't change the button layout to L2 and R2 is such a buzzkill. Please patch this Crytek. All your dedicated fans would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah I really don't get why he redirected me here, and didn't leave any comment. Is CryAdam even a developer or is he just some sort of forum moderator? Ugh either way, I'm going to keep posting in this thread every day until I get my beloved control scheme. If you feel the same way as me, please keep posting in here, hopefully we'll catch Crytek's attention. I've asked nicely over and over. Can I get a REAL comment from anyone from Crytek on this? Maybe like a "Oh hey we're working on it." or "No we can't do that". I don't want to sound nieve but it seems like the only way to get anything done on this forum is to do what that guy did and spam nonsensically. I don't have the patience for that. Please just implement this control scheme!

it would be really nice if someone from Crytek could just give us a definitive yea or nay on this issue - if they say its never gonna happen then i can stop wasting my time on this forum. if they listen to the substantial number of gamers who request and need this - then tell us it will be coming -

please don't leave us hanging guys - and keep up the good work supporting the title otherwise
