Please Crytek make a PS3 controller option to flip L1L2&R1R2 : Crysis

I love the game so far, but this is really the only criticism I have is not being able to flip the top buttons. For example if I was to be playing with both default settings, what I am asking for is to Max Armor with L1, Cloak with R1, and to Aim-Down-Sight with L2, and shoot with R2. I know a lot of PS3 players around the world are asking for this option. Keyword: option, we're not asking to change the default controls, just that you add that for the people who choose to use that style configuration.

This is a righteous request Crytek, and there are hundreds of players out there that are asking you to do it, so please don't disappoint your customers!

The Nyko Raven controller(version 2+) has this function built in. It has an A&B switch that does just what you want

I could not agree more with this. All of the other shooters that I have played on my PS3 have given the option to switch the shoulder buttons, but I was disappointed when I started Crysis 2 up last night and realized I don't have the ability to switch them. I'm sure it would be a very easy patch for Crytek to do.... Please?

Thanks guys, this is an honest request from PS3 customers and fans of Crysis 2, and something that I'm sure the Crytek staff could handle. We need to keep requesting they add this option!

I noticed this wasn't possible on the demo and was quite hopeful the full release would have it, but when I asked my friend (who got it early) if it could be done, he told me you couldn't. I use L2 & R2 on Killzone 3 coz it feels more comfortable for me, the lack of this option is really the only thing holding me back from getting Crysis 2.

Multiple Threads regarding this request were created on the demo forum, hopefully if more people demonstrate their desire for this option, we'll get it in a patch.

Honestly, I don't know why EVERY game wouldn't have 100% customizable button configuration. There are a plethora of gamer preferences, why take the chance of turning some away? Not sure why a developer would not give the player that option. Not like it takes a ton more time to program...Anyways, I prefer L1 and R1 the way they are, but I'm with you guys on this.

Yep, no clue why this isn't an option in every shooter. I preferred R1/L1 previously, until I got some triggers for my '2's and now I really can't stand R1/L1.

My guess is that because companies can't assume everyone has triggers they do it this way, but at least make it an option, similar to KZ3.

I am totally in with you guys, i haven't got the game yet but i will be truly a satisfied fan if they replaced L1/R1 with L2/R2. they will make my day.

Even if this option would come in a much later patch, as obviously this is not the most urgent issue, it would be great to have at least a comment from Crytek on the matter.
A simple "we heard you" or "we are considering it for the future" would be great.

I totaly agree with that i just got signed up to make this request and before i post i searched for a similar post and found this one.Please update this little detail that is so important.when i played the first time i thought i could get used to it but after 3 days of play i didn't get used it at all.Keep the great work guys you are the best and i hope these messages won't go to waste!!!

Its possible through the controller settings...i think its called the alternative setting. i use it.
