I made this account to post this one specific topic on this forum in my desperate attempt to reach the Bethesda Fallout 4 team.




I loved all your game since Fallout 3

and I can tolerate all bugs and glitches in Fallout 4.

In fact, I played Fallout 4 over 400 hours and I think it is really great game.

However,

your game has this FROZEN ENEMY GLITCH.

When Enemy is killed while FROZEN, re-spawned same enemy will stay frozen and become non-interactive.

I got few Freezing Energy weapons in the game and tried them with Overdrive.

Now 400 hours into game, half of my enemies are lying ALIVE and I CANNOT enjoy the game at all !


By the time, I realized the cause of glitch it was too late for me to go back.

Fallout4 is designed to be played for indefinite amount of time,

but this glitch is killing the heart of this game.

In desperation, I also checked new patch note which mentions NOTHING about FIXING this game breaking glitch !

I really hope this message get to other players and Fallout4 development team.

As much as I love this game, I cannot tolerate such glitch standing between players and its fun.

Please DO NOT release the next official patch if you are not going to fix this glitch.

Fix this glitch then release the proper worthy patch for all platform. (I play on PS4 by the way)

I really hope this message gets to the Fallout 4 development team.

Many people online mentioned how underwhelming Fallout 4 is compared to other games such as Witcher 3 & Fallout predecessors.

I wasn`t one of them, but if this glitch is ignored and not fixed by next patch.


I will lose all faith in Bethesda.

Sorry, but I have a question: You're actually using that Cryo weapon? Really?

I was testing many weapons, and the freezing effect turned out to be the worst nightmare that can happen.


I don`t have to continuously use any freezing weapon, this glitch will happen on one go and stay there for bad.

its not just cryo, any exploded respawned corpse that intersects an object has its ai shut off on respawn.

I'm glad you posted that, was worried I was the only one who thought it was an overhyped, over rated POS

You should try it. It's fun.

cryolator is awesome if you give it to a settler with a hooded cleansuit. freezing mod itself is op as shizz.

Who cares about whom uses what in single play game.


If this problem is caused by more than one thing this is just terrible news

I will have to. Never have in 5 playthroughs. Have a lady Marine in the works so it can't hurt to at least try.

Crap.

Last week I did some test run with overdrive + freezing lazer in Big John Salavage

and now I confirm every single enemy there is not able to move anymore.


I really didn`t think I would be deeply affected by FALLOUT4 glitch and end up getting so disappointed about this game.
