Enclave Radio did the same thing with another RP, he seems to go way over the top when it comes down to it.

I don't like to see one liners, most of the time I try and atleast make a small Paragraph, though sometimes the occasional one liner may be needed to move things along in a conversation if it's just happening between two characters, though that is pretty rare.

I'll admit,I haven't been on this forum as long as most of you,but in what experience I do have,the good RP's and Fan-Fics usually stay near the top of the list. I've only had my head spin with too many topics twice,the first being when I just started here,and the second happenning a few hours ago. There is a risk,but I would imagine a curtousy notice would deter enough of the RP traffic. In my case,I have my hands full with the 2 good RP's and 3 Fan-Fics I'm checking in on. I couldn't imagine managing an RP on top of that.

I still think there should be a few guys that try to manage the RP's going at one time and organise the RP/Story Awards. =(

maybe they should make the mod of this forum someone who actually pays alot of attention to THIS section someone like DR strangelove if he was still around, that would be awesome, a moderator that actually moderated... although this a a public forum they wouldnt just make somone a mod just becuase we asked them.

This is like my fav area, I would ask to be the Mod of this section, but I hardly ever go on anymore...

That was back when there was probaly only 10 regulars on this board. Strangelove had returned but he disappeared again, same with SideWynder and Nillocjames.

I just thought, looking back at the last pages, I've never made an RP. Not gonna put another one on right now though

I think RP's should be toned down and about enclave radio he already messed up For the brotherhood who let him in RoA.

It seem's this thread made a difference? I've already seen more stories posted, than Rp's. But don't turn it into Rp's where people are pumping stories out left and right because there need's to be more stories than Rp's.

@ DeadlySin and Peter: I would vote Dr. Strangelove in as a moderator for this forum area, if he ever returns? He did keep the players of his Rp's in line and made sure the Rp was flowing smoothly. I think that if Dr. Strangelove returns, we should at least try to get him as a moderator for the this section. It would make a BIG difference in the way this section is going.

HELL NO!! What if someone posts something up, and it svcks, or two people try to post at the same time, and the one who has the best of the group is beat to it. And plus, out of the hundreds of people on here, I dont think it would be fair for one RP , and 5 fanfic a day. Re-freaking-tarded

Well, that's why this thread was created. Because the things people were posting as Rp's were.. well, they svcked. And to many people were pumping them out at a time.

Let's take Drilldon as an example. No one is going to create an Rp based around the survival of a settlement, and if they did, it would probably be considered a clone of Drilldon by everyone, but with a different story and characters. And frankly, that's what I see happening on here, people join one or two Rp's and then create their own that is closely similar to the one's or one they are in.

And I highly doubt that two people are going to post at the same time, and the "best" is going to get beat out some how. Also, no one is saything that there should be like 1 Rp, and 5 stories. People just need to calm down with pumping the Rp's out because they start sounding the same when you join several of them.

I think one major problem with the RPs is that there really isn't anything new, quite a few BoS and Enclave based ones, though I have seen an increase in the amount of ones that arn't.

Well no one said any of that. We should just weed out the crappier/low activity Rp's as there are a lot of them. And seriously guys wtf is with all the Enclave and BoS ones, use your imaginations.

Anyway Max, your right. If strangelove ever came back he should become a mod. I also think you and Nillocjames would be good as well.

I'd like to add that I've noticed a lot of people, A LOT of people are creating sequels to RP's that, frankly, aren't good enough to warrant one. I mean c'mon how hard would it be to cut some useless dialogue from an RP or some flashback scene that's supposed to elaborate on your characters motives? 70% of the sequels on this board are comprised of people not wanting to end their RP for IMO, silly reasons.

Yeah, that's another problem that we brought up ThatOneNwah. The sequals (If any) should only last another thread, having a total of two threads on that one Rp. Maybe three if it had to be ended, and there just wasn't enough posts on the second thread.

Well, I wouldn't think it would be a Drilldon clone, I mean, as long as it isn't in the same place, has a similiar name, or storyline (raiders attacking), I dont think it would be a clone.



I was going to post a topic about that. I mean, one or two would be fun, and just about them surviving, not DLC's, ect. And, personally, I think the ones about common wasters, surviving with like, one pistol or rifle, is better.

Please no more BOS or Enlcave Rp's. They're so old and boring, bring back the classic wastelander like Mad Max, a guy trying to survive, and meets up with a team, and they do something! I'm tired of BOS and Enclave.

That will never happen. That's why there is a "Umbrella", so they don't have to make several sections.

Ugh, I want to make a new RP =( I can't help it, I really enjoyed making Cold Steel. When do you guys think I can make a new RP? It doesn't look like anything is going to calm down, new RP's are just starting and I'm sure there is more on the way. And the only RP that stopped was mine.

I disagree, quite frankly I enjoy those BOS RP's, though I've never been in one they are usually quite a good read. *Nod towards Cold Steel* People shouldn't be resticted just because some people are too lazy to scroll down a bit more to find the RP they're in. Let the creative juices flow! Everyone should get a chance to put their idea forward, regardless of the amount of other RP's out there!

But that's the problem King Raven, when people are just pumping out the Rp's they're not good quality, just a bunch of wasted space. They all begin to blend together, and then it becomes basicly the same Rp, but with another GM.
