(SPOILER ALERT) I chose to ultimately align with the Institute in the main storyline. I got to the quest called End of the Line where i have to kill all the members of the Railroad. When i got to the Old North Church, there were both Railroad and Brotherhood enemies inside and all were hostile towards me. When i killed them and got down to the basemant I tried to do the Freedom Trail Ring puzzle but the game would not allow me to hit the center button. I could spin the wheel in either direction but i could not press A to activate the letters. IMPORTANT: I HAVE ALREADY OPENED THE DOOR EARLIER IN THE GAME WHEN I DISCOVERED THE RAILROAD. The door should have been open but for some reason it closed up and i can not get inside to advance the quest. I am so close to completing the main story and the fact that i can't due to a bug is extremely frustrating. Bethesda, please help! If anyone knows a possible fix to this glitch please help!

I am experiencing this same issue. They will need to release a patch for this bug to resolve this. It is very unfortunate because it is preventing myself and others from completing the end of the game. I have emailed Bethesda about this issue as well

add me to the list but i have completed the game on another playthrough i was reloading to get the other faction endings when i came across this... totally blows :/

I found out only way to beat the game from here is to go to the institute, kill father, escape institute then beat the game using the minutemen.
