Please help me with my mod load order and GNR radio ESM issu

This is the first game I've modded so I'm not sure what I am doing. I have read over the FAQ's but to be honest I just don't get it. When I start Fallout 3 using FOSE with all these mods, it gives me an error. If I start up fallout 3 with FOSE not using any mods, it starts just fine. I reinstalled my old version of fallout 3 from steam, its not GOTY version. I also bought and installed the addons: broken steel, point lookout, the pitt, and operation anchorage.

Its updated to the latest patch via steam

Many of your mods I have no clue about but just for starters and to get you going...you only need one of the galaxynewsradio files. Use the ones with as many songs you want added, and make sure you have downloaded and installed all the sound packs for it. i.e. if you use 100 more songs, you need all the sound packs.

The Followers Enhanced files, use only the BS (Broken Steel) version since you have that DLC in your setup. So get rid of 'FO3 Wanderers Edition - Followers Enhanced.esp' and 'FO3 Wanderers Edition - Project Beauty (Followers Enhanced).esp'.

Get rid of all that has fook2 in it since you don't have that mod installed.

Get rid of all that has zeta in it since you don't have that DLC installed.

I see some MMM files which are not necessary since they are now built into FWE. reduced spawns, tougher traders, xfo. Get rid of them.

You probably want Mez's patch installed too last in your load order. Can be found on the Nexus FOIP page.

Please read the EXCELLENT manual that comes with FWE. It will tell you exactly what files you need for a huge overhaul setup like the one you are using, and exactly where to put them. It is very easy to follow and virtually fool-proof. Hard to go wrong if you read through it's load order section etc. Read through it all, couple times. Also the Details document is an excellent read so you know what to expect. What it all does, and how. Highly recommended!

I run GNR radio as my last mod. Your last list had every .esm file selected, just select the one for however many songs you're using, although it sounds like you figured that out. That said, I'm not sure what your conflict might be, you are running quite a few mods. I would suggest running FO3edit with your current load order and find out what it thinks your hang up is. I'm new to modding too, but have been able to trouble-shoot quite a bit of stuff using FO3edit.

You're running a whole mess of mods, so I don't know exactly why you're crashing...it could be a lot of things! http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2761 has a section dealing with load order down toward the bottom, so that could get you started in the right direction of organizing everything.

Have you used http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10193?

Ok thanks, I think I am almost there. It now starts up, but i have 2 other problems. Now I am getting a message every 10 seconds saying I don't have FOSE installed, but i installed FOSE v1.1 beta 9 and used my FOMM to activate it.

Also, I started a new game, and while I am being born all the visuals are distorted. i see a bunch of white and red, and hear my dad's voice, but can't make out anything.

Almost all issue have been resolved, even fixed the FOSE issue

I believe what you see is a big red square with a white exclamation mark inside it telling you there are missing meshes. Some resources must of not been installed, or installed in the wrong place. Please double check that you installed all the meshes and textures that came with these mods, and that they installed in the right place in your DATA folder.

i used FOMM to activate all the mods.

i suppose i need to do more?

Meshes are model files, and many mods come with new ones, and new textures too, and sounds etc. Make sure when you copy the esp and esm files to your data folder from the downloaded archives, that you also copy the rest of the folders if any. Somewhere along the line, you didn't, or copied them to the wrong place or something such.

I had some issues w/ FOMOD FWE with meshes being weird. I just downloaded the "regular" FWE and unpacked it into its own folder. Then copied the meshes folder and pasted it into fallout3/data and copied over everything and it resolved it.
