Please make hotkeys work properly :)

Hi, the 5 year anniversary of Skyrim just passed, but hotkeys are still pretty broken on PC. I was very excited for the release of Skyrim Special Edition, and assumed something as simple as this would be fixed, but was disappointed immediately to find that it's not. Each update that drops gives me hope, but it's still not fixed :( Please, Bethesda, fix this bug for us. Surely it's got to be simple to do!

If you don't know about this bug, you probably don't dual wield weapons, but I'll attempt to explain.

Wield a sword in your right hand, and assign it to #1

Wield an axe in your left hand, and assign it to #2

Equip a bow, switch to spells, anything to get those weapons out of your hands.

Press #1, the sword appears in your right hand.

Press #2, the axe appears in your right hand.

Your left hand remains empty, or has whatever spell you were using previously, and no hotkey will put a weapon in your left hand. You need to go into the favorites list and manually add it.

If you do this same thing with two different spells instead of weapons it seems to switch back fine. #1 puts flames in your right hand, #2 puts healing back in your left hand.

I also could have sworn that we were supposed to be able to wield things in left and right hands and assign that combination to a hotkey, like #1 to wield both weapons in each hand, but that's never worked either.

I would be more than happy with having to hit #1 and #2 to assign my two weapons to the proper hands, but would LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to assign a set of weapons to one key.

SkyUI DID DO THIS, but with the original dev abandoning it, and its future fully up in the air beyond the basic UI stuff, I don't know if it will ever get this feature back for Skyrim Special Edition

Please fix this Bethesda. What do I need to do to make this happen? I want to play but honestly this one little thing is bugging the heck out of me. I want to stream it too, but same thing, I just get annoyed knowing it's never been fixed in 5 years.

Otherwise, thanks, great game.
