Someone from marketing and sales failed hard.

They should have made alot more. Alot of missed profits and disappointed customers.

I was never interested in it, i just dont like a plastic armband.
I would have bought it if was a book, the making of f4 and another lore book or in depth game lore book. Those are things i like.

I'm interested in what the book that comes with the Pip-Boy Edition really is. Nobody seems to have talked about it too much. I also thought that Fallout 3's collectors edition should have come with a complete Wasteland Survival Guide acting as something of a strategy guide but mostly intended to give extend the lore of the game.

I wish that they would at least give a page count. I always hate when a collectors edition claims to provide an art book, but in the end it's only 30 pages, doesn't go into detail about developing the art style, and its imagery is all the prerelease art that they leaked beforehand anyway.

Hahahahahaha wow, I had completely forgotten about this until now. I can't believe it got over 50 posts!

Most of you are ridiculous haters. This was a post to get people riled up and try to gauge the market. Get over yourselves and your high and mighty ways. I realized at one point that I couldn't be too mad at the stupid people scalping them online for such a ridiculous amount of money. Sure, they're [censored] people screwing over the actual fans, but when it all comes down to it, they were smart and diligent. They saw the market for what it was and are taking advantage of capitalism, good for them for making a few hundred bucks with ease.

When I checked for the thousandth time online at every possible retail store carrying them to try and be the lucky one that gets a cancelled order or whatever I finally realized what made those guys perfectly guilt-free: LIMITED EDITION. Well [censored], I guess that might mean something. None of them are any more selfish than any business in America that raises prices by a penny or charges one customer a little less than others cause they do something for them. Capitalism is practically by definition businesses screwing over customers/consumers. Finally, a huge part of capitalism is trend and value predictions, so someone who counted on them staying limited edition and hopes they don't make more is perfectly within their rights and morality. Get over yourselves and your hostility.

Hope they come out with more, but I'll get over it if they do. I guess I might be a little sorry for finding it hilarious and stirring the pot, but really not so much.

I find it much more judging of a persons character to over pay for something, then create a forum profile simply to complain that you over paid for something.... You lucked out, got desperate, and over paid.... Which isn't bethesda's fault, only desperate chumps buy from scalpers.... While you "stir the pot", I'll forget all about you not long after I make this post.... as I don't see you actually contributing to this forum in any shape or form....

Myself... I'd have spent it on a 3D printer, and just made my own piece of plastic.

That's not half a bad price for such a vintage game!
