Jeez, take it easy. They haven't said anything about T-45d not being in, have they?

Am I the only one who doesn't care at all about which weapons/armors are or aren't in the game?

Well, I haven't seen that discussion on these forums, and announcements like that usually create huge outbursts of rant threads because everyone favors the weaker BoS armor. I'm sorry that I haven't heard that yet.

He didn't specifically come out and say it but from that Gametrailers interview and his related posts it seems only the rusty t-51b is around.

In this pic you can see that the armor the Courier is wearing has a scrap of a T41-d armor on his right arm as part of a gauntlet. So there is a possibility of it returning.

Unless it just the pauldron on the armor. or part of another variant.

i hope they done the brave thing this time and made it so you can,t use power armour this time
as who going to teach you how to use it ?
were not friend with the BOS this time and their nearly gone
we can forget the enclave which only leave the outcasts

but really can we stop flogging a dead horse with power armour and have some new ideas
yes it was the best armour in the game but it was slow and heavy
and looked crap

We can also forget the Outcasts at least on the West Coast, mainly as the Outcasts are only on the East Coast due to splitting off from Elder Lyons because of they disagreed with his want to help the locals and not concentrating on his mission of finding and preserving Tech.

In Fallout 1 and 2 you didn't need any training to use Power Armor. Just sayin'.

no no you see, the power armor (t-45d) is something i need for modding. it's illegal to bring models from other games and add it to a different game.

Hopefully the full model is still in the game files, even if they didn't place any T-45d power armor in the game.

This or at worst, if there is any power armour in game you could possibly alter it's looks to something similarish to the T-45d power armour. Having said this I admit I'm not familiar with modding so don't know how easy/hard that would be, so I'm just throwing this out as an offhand suggestion which may or may not let you get something close to what you're looking for.

I had a hard time understanding this but Power Armor will be able to be worn in the game due to it being a Fallout game and Power Armor is one of the key features to Fallout

Caps lock... the cruise control for cool.

Or is it?

That being said, I don't much care if Power Armor is in the game or not, I never used it in FO3, don't think that it'll be any different in FO:NV. : /

I do not expect to see T-45d in NV.

1. It's very specific to BoS in Fo3, and I think they will not want to include it on those grounds.

2. JES has told us that BoS will play a much smaller role in NV, and as such I expect less BoS content and special toys accordingly.

3. There's the whole "How did it get from East to West coast when the BoS in east and west are not in even regular communication" argument.

4. Why add T-45d? It svckED stat wise for how much work it took to acquire - lets ask for something more Useful and Interesting in BoS armor!

Part of the fun of FO2 was when you finally got to Navarro, you could go back and stomp around the rest of the world laughing at everyone from within your invincible tin can. It was a real change in how you interacted with the world, and was an important part of the game.
PA is great when you really have to be challenged for it, and it's really impressive- FO3 had the challenge as you didn't get it until after RR, but it wasn't hugely impressive, you certainly couldn't stomp raiders with impunity. NV has Threshold, and as long as they put the challenge in it'll be great, and equally important to the game.
