Please reduce melee attack damage, it is way too overpowered

tl;dr - Melee is a one-hit kill, no matter what. It is overpowered in all situations, and needs to be reduced to a two hit kill.

My post was deleted and whoever deleted it, failed to notify why it was deleted. If it was moved, then I was not notified, and I cannot find it in a search. So I am reposting.

I have been playing the multiplayer beta for some time now and can say that the melee attack is way too overpowered for this game. Allow me to explain a couple situations as an example: In close quarters, I was opening fire upon an enemy, that enemy simply ran into my gunfire and one-hit killed me with a punch, my bullets were absolutely useless. Another situation is where I was engaging an enemy at medium distance, the enemy entered armor mode and simply ran towards me and punched me to instantly kill me. This has happened to me on so many instances, I have simply stopped playing the game. I know that I am not a bad player, I can swear that my accuracy is not an issue.

If melee is so powerful, you will begin to see people not even shooting anymore and camping in cloak to await people who run by and simply kill them with an overpowered weapon (the melee).

Melee shiould be made a two-hit kill. As in, one punch to remove all the players energy, and a second punch to remove all the players health. Otherwise this will turn into another Crysis 1 power-mode punching fiasco that everyone hated and complained about and was fixed in Crysis Wars.

This game is trying really hard to be Call of Duty, and it plays terribly as a result.

I recommend you to post this in the demo forum here:
http://www.gamesas.com/forums/forum31.html
It's being monitored by both EA and Crytek. There's also a pinned topic outlining that they're listening. Check it out.

And yes, the servers were having problems for the past 24 hours, they reverted back to the 'Old' gamesas website. So repost anything that was lost before.

As sahdev_92 mentioned, all feedback and issues belong in the demo forum which are being regularly checked by Crytek and EA.
