I buy Crysis, and Crysis Warhead through Steam.
But I hate SecuROM also in Steam version, I think Steam is enough.

And...
- At the current moment both games have a activation limit of 5 machines.
- According to sources only Crysis Warhead can be revoked, Crysis cannot be revoked.
- Almost all other EA games on Steam have had there SecuROM removed exmaples: BFBC2 & Spore.

I think SecuROM should be removed from the steam version.
Please remove it.

SecuROM? Holy ****! I won't buy this game if SecuROM protects it.

It is an excessive DRM that acts like this:

So, yo, you buyed new hardware for your PC rig aye? You put the C2 disk in your CD ROM and what comes up?

Securom says your CD key is already used! That means you have to put back your piece of **** hardware into your computer and unlock the game from their website and then put your new hardware back into your computer.

I have Sacred 2 and this securom really annoyed me, I had to download the game illegally and put my VALID CD key (I bought the game!) to make the game work.


In short: Securom does the exact opposite it is supposed to do, it encourages pirates and punishes consumers.

SecuROM is **** gay. Whoever cam up with that **** should be shot. I had to buy a Crysis CD 3 times because of that...
