If you are experiencing unplayable lag and framerate issues with the PS3 version of this game, please let your voice be heard. We can really make a difference by simply writing some honest reviews and by bringing to light the incredibly unethical stance Bethesda has taken on this version of the game. Consumers have a right to buy fit-for-purpose products. The PS3 version is not fit-for-purpose, and ambiguous, unclear promises of 'patches to come in the new year' cannot change that fact.

Please let your voice be heard wherever it can be.

Not hating on PS3 consoles here by the way but personally they should not have bothered to make a PS3 version after reading this.

Yes, in order to even make the game run properly for long periods of time they'd have to cut away large parts of what makes the game what it is.

Like NPCs interacting and moving in the world while the player isn't present. (NPCs being persistent references)
Items, objects and in general changes inflicted upon the game world being persistent through saves. (Resetting zones and dungeons)

They're already trying to cut corners but alas, the improvement in performance is directly in relation to the size of the cut. Corners will sadly not do.
I'm ready to blame the consoles really, they're extremely outdated. They were released soon to be six years ago, and hardware progresses fast. Really fast. We're way beyond the technology we had six years ago.

Bethesda needs to rewrite the game so it requires mandatory HD install and references saves off HD. Only solution I can see (off the top of my head).
