Oh Please

Come on people, what the hell is wrong with you, the game is amazing.

The single player campaign is one of the best I have ever played, and the multiplayer is the 2nd best I have ever even seen. Am I the only one that didn't have any problems with the game? everything went smooth for me. There was one annoying little bug in the campaign, sometimes, i couldnt meele, so I couldnot progress thorugh unless I restarted at a checkpoint. Also, there are still Multiplayer issues like matches not starting and killcam being pretty inaccurate.

So what if its not using DX11. I bet most of you don't even know what DX stands for, set aside what it actually does.
If you did, you would know how unimportant the lack of it is.

Have you even played the original Crysis? The textures in crysis 2 are half the resolution, not the mention the lighting is not even half as advanced. Yes, it looks bad ass...for a dx9 game!

Um, i am willing to bet YOU don't understand what an API does let alone the Dx APIs.

The major benefit from adding Dx11 would be the performance handling on modern GPU architectures. Also what the modding community could do with custom shaders.

Regardless of new features, existing features could concievably be enhanced. Dx11 also allows for Global Shadow Maps/Global Dynamic Shadows causing the "pop-in" to no longer happen to shadows at a distance of some 30m, due to a rendering "sphere" imposed around the player.

I could go on, but you should really learn WHY they update APIs and architecture.

There are many good reasons not to stick with Dx9 forever, lol.

Wow. Very ignorant of you. Sure the games great, they honestly did a fantastic job. Problem is yes, no dx11. People are upset because they promised a dx11 game to push current hardware.

But even more so besides dx11, the plethora of issues, glitches, and poor fan support.. This is why people are pissed. There is bad issues with this game that needs to be fixed in order to even PLAY the game! And do we hear anything? Any feedback? Any responses? No.

Again, yes the game is great. But I can't play it anymore due to audio bugs! and its not a result due to my system. If anything crytek should have delayed PC launch. I ran into issues like most people. But I think to myself.. Do the devs even play through the entire game that they make?? A.I is buggy most of the time, otherwise challenging, audio bug where marine's yell 'go move up!' a million times even when I restart level and game, and the enemy melee glitch where they hit me and send me flying into the sky out of the map.. Yes that happened to me twice..

My point is PC gamers are pissed they aren't listening when they spoke PC was their #1 priority.

Return to Crysis
