You fellow elder scrolls players/fans do you think the dark brother hood should return? if so why.

Why:Because I loved the dark brother hood in TES IV:Oblivion the story line the cool clothes the skeleton dude meeting the night mother (she's the night mother or something right? it's been awhile) and i also loved the dark brother hood in tes 3 for there epic clothes and how cool it was that they tried to assasinate me.(I didn't really play morrowind that much :/)

An assassins guild of some sort, yes; but not the super sinister goth teenagers that were the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion.

No doubt, the Dark Brotherhood were just so, so satisfying when you played an evil character. In fact, I would like to see one or two other evil "guilds", perhaps a Necromancer guild?

Changing subject slightly, anyone else hoping they add an unarmed-combat guild/arena of sorts? Dunno why, something about hand-to-hand combat just seems like it would fit the Skyrim culture to me.

I think there could be some fist fights you'll be able to participate in, but probably not a full-fledged guild.

I don't see why it won't. It's not like 200 years in the future people won't want people dead, and those willing to kill them won't go away either. Weather it's called the dark brotherhood or not I'm sure there will be some organization like it.

It's extremely likely the DB will be back; they hold the monopoly of assassination in all of Tamriel (especially now, because Morrowind was nuked!). I just hope they treat it more as a cold business, with some dark humor than "I CUT MYSELF FOR SITHISSSSSSSSSSS!!!"

Not teenagers in a literal sense, I was referring to the "we're in a cave and everything is black and scary and super macabre and blood is awesome and we're so sinister and badass" feeling I got from them. It was waay overdone.

The dark brotherhood quest line was one of my favs. I loved the quest where you killed people in the house and had to cause them to panic and turn on each other.

Well, if it's not been suggested, then there needs to be a Skyrim Martial Arts Guild/Tournament

Seems like it'd be a cool way to introduce a little flavor of other parts of Tamriel, and make for a cool little side-mission as well. For example, seeing Khajiit, perhaps they have this deeply-spiritual, monk-like approach to combat? Or... maybe they're just totally sloppy, who really knows? Plus, it might give them a chance to introduce a bit of oriental-influence, in a land that's obviously tailored to more rugged tastes.

The DArk Brotherhood is not likely going to go anywhere as they have been in the series since Arena and will likely be in the series for some time .

I'd hope the Dark Brotherhood come back. Similar or more sinister than Oblivions. I enjoyed Morrowind's Morag Tong but Dark Brotherhood wins because they do think illegally, no get out of jail free scroll. Maybe we'll have new guilds for fighters, thieves, and assassins. The mages guild I believe split, so I wonder how that will be handled.

Dark Brotherhood is really overrated at this point. I'd like some sort of assassin's guild, but it does not have to be the DB.

I think it'd be cool to have both the Morag Tong and the Dark Brotherhood, you could play as the Dark Brotherhood, taking out the last of the Morag Tong, or as the Morag Tong, trying to regain a foothold in Tamriel.

I hope they bring in some sort of Assassin's guild.

I think that is why they will likely show up. They have listened to the masses. And they want gloomy fraternities!

Though I hope they can top Oblivion's DB story. Just killing people and getting promoted would be dull.

Well, considering their practice was very dark, you know, killing for contract and to let the Void devour souls, it seems appropriate to be a pretty sadistic and macabre group.

Their idea of Sithis is completely wrong, so don't believe a word they're saying. If anything, they're worshiping Melphala (at least the DF branch recognizes this) and Lorkhan with the names Night Mother and Sithis, respectively.

If they're back it'd be nice with generic quests from them as well.
Doing too many of them would of course make it very repetitive but still.
Have like some randomly generated NPC be placed at a fixed location (over 50 different fixed locations) and then have us kill him/her.
The reward for the quest is greater depending on how we did it.
If we wen HULK SMASH then our reward would be petty considering we didn't really "assassinate" the person.
But if we're more subtle, like poisoning something and having him eat it, or arranging for an "accident" then the reward would be greater.
I would of course like a storyline as well but was irked that at the end of their questline in Oblivion there weren't a lot more to do for them.
So generic quests should be able to be taken from there.
