PLEASE TONE DOWN THE SCAR = OVERPOWERED

It makes no sense that i should be killed quicker with armor mode with a grendal which is more powerful than the scar on with a person who has a scar with armor mode off,and i shot at the person first.It just shouldn't happen that i fire a half a clip all confirmed hits,just for the person to turn around and kill me off in 2 shots with the Scar.And no i didn't see or read any other posts about this subject please don't flame me.Does this happen to anyone else?

I agree. Who needs another weapons to unlock if u can kill all with the scar? xD
needs to be fix'd too.

AGREED. Scar is very overpowered, it doesn't make sense to use other weapons with its power and almost lack of recoil. The Scar needs to be toned down in power OR increase the recoil of the weapon so It cant be sprayed and fired like a laser.

By the way headshots with the scar seem almost too coincidental.

the feline is also very powerful at short ranges .... network problems create retarded lag sometime SCAR gets overpowered or sometimes its just useless ... network problems needs to get fix asap

Well, I don't think the scar should be nerfed, I think the bigger issue is hit detection.

The scar needs to be nerfed, it makes all other weapons useless,almost every game i play in almost everyone is using the SCAR except 2 people at the MOST,if that. Doesn't make sense that an assault rifle does the same amount of damage of a machine gun.I just hope they fix it soon.And yes headshots with the scar happen A LOT with me.i watch the kill cams,The person will miss every single shot while im strafting until BOOM one random headshot kills me.

it is not overpowered... the average person will gladly sacrifice gun damage for more accuracy and higher fire rate to make up for the lag in the game... now if crysis 2 had dedicated servers we would see a lot more people using different guns

The problem isn't the weapons, aside from the submachine gun which is just stupidly accurate.

The problem is that the net code was written by a **** retard. Terrible.

I'll be honest, I havent played any MP yet as this game only released in Aus today, but after three days the nerf bat has already been called for?

In my opinion anyway, there is a better case to be made for buffing the other weapons if an imbalance is present rather than nerfing the SCAR. A little more work, but an overall better outcome. Just my $0.02

Again, haven't used the Grundel yet but I agree the Scar is overpowered and needs to be turned down.

Overpowered, but based on what? Another Scar? The second pistol ''Hammer'' is well balanced with the Scar. They are pretty mcuh like the DMR vs Pistol in Halo: Reach. The SniperRifle is well balanced with the Scar and offer a nice contrast. Same goes for the Grendel; very powerful and great singleshot weapon. Maybe the shotgun is the one being underpowered...

Actually you make a very good point. I do feel however, that theres too much range damage on the scar. Ive been able to "snipe" people all the way across the map using even the Reflex scope. Didn't seem fair or right.

There's only 3 Assault Rifles to choose from and the second isn't even available until level 13. It makes sense that the Scar is being used widely. The Grendel isn't full auto so the two shouldn't really be compared IMO because they each warrant a different play style.

The problem here is lack of variety for different types of weapons.

I unlocked the Grundle yesterday and even though its somewhat awkward to use at close range it's AMAZING and better than the scar in the times ive used it. I also unlocked the Feline yesterday and thats lulzy to use i can only imagine how fast it would shoot with the suit module that makes your primary weapon shoot faster XD

I've found the feline to be way better than the SCAR. (Mid to close range)I haven't lost a straight up with it vs. the SCAR. I thought the feline was a bit much to be used against people lower than 13. I would constantly lose the feline.

We're having the same problem on the PC servers. I finally learned that it's the netcode's fault, so now I use the SCAR and "spray and pray". It works, sadly.
