I wub the game and years of fun in Skyrim. ;)
The Radiant story generator is a huge improvement compare to previous games in the same serie.

It take that long to make such a good game, not like the rushed, annual games with only small changes...

they need 5 years at least to make a game as good and big as skyrim.

Remember DA2? made in 18 months. it was a complete failure.

Quality > Quantity.

We will get expansions. I want them to take as much time as they need to make another jump in Quality like they did from Oblivion to Skyrim.

5 years is fine - Skyrim is a big step up from Oblivion, which itself was a big step up from Morrowind (not in all ways in fairness).

Look at MW3 - same game with slightly different guns, but a new game every year - FDR to that.

+1000 to all the replies so far.

Its a painful wait but well worth it.

EDIT: to the poster above: Franklin Delano Roosevelt...?

what i would like most is expansions for skyrim.. same engine, same everything... more quests, more new areas to explore, more towns, more enemies.. etc.. If they would do that, we would get new contents very soon.

FDR? Um but it took 3 years and we can expect it's DLC to be here first on in about a year. And no expansions this time. :/

They started the concept five years ago but the game itself three years ago. I could point you to where Todd said this if you would like.

No, there was a small team working on it straight after Oblivion. Then it when into full scale after Fallout 3. Five years is accurate.

Yeah but thats probably pre alpha work with a very small part of the team so the rest of them could work on Fallout 3.

Which is why another 3-4 years with nothing in between would be good. I want TES as Bethesda's focus. Filthy Fallouts! They STOLE IT FROM US! HSCHHHCHH!!!!

As soon as Oblivion was done, pre-production started. The full team got to work after Fallout 3 was done. That's how I understand it, at least.

I hope it is another 5 years, to be honest. TES games are epic, and don't need to be put out for the masses once a year like COD games.

I will say, the next TES game really needs to change up the scenery quite a bit. I think they will go the BlackMarsh rout or Elsweyr.

Somewhere tropical and different from the traditional European themed scenery of OB and Skyrim.

I'm ready to wait another six years for a better Elder Scrolls. Even 7.

Are you sure? They could just readjust the perks, throw in a few new dungeons, and BOOM!

It'll probably take that much time because they'll wait until the next gen consoles are out, which won't happen for a couple years still. It'd be great to have ES6 as a xbox720 release title, but it probably won't happen.

Honestly, it might take me 5 years to finish this one. This is a fantastic game.

I'm a little interested to see how the lore turns out.

I want to know which ending is canon. The story has not interested me this much since morrowind, and even then I didn't feel I needed to know what happened in the next 50-100 years or so.

Great game, Bethesda
