PNMMUE compatibility issue

Post » Thu Aug 28, 2014 12:29 am

I seem to be having some sort of issue with PN and MMUE causing a missing master error when both mods (and attendant patches) are installed.

I have found the "problem" which is that the MMUE compability patch for Project Nevada in the DLC is looking for an ESP that does not exist (perhaps it did with an older version of PNs DLC patch).

It is looking for Project Nevada - All DLC.esp.

Unfortunately the PN DLC patch does not install everything into a unified ESP file. It instead installs the individual ESP files Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp, Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp, Project Nevada - Old World Blues.esp, Project Nevada - Lonesome Road.esp, and Project Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp.

Soooo.

How do I repair this error/problem?

I suppose using FNV Edit to remove the master is a solution but, I am concerned if I do that that I might break something. Like the game. lol.

So help?

Thanks folks.

Lol. Figured it out myself.

The instructions on the MMUE page are not terribly clear but I got it sorted.

FYI, MMUE, especially the UE Edition is not a patch, it is an overhaul mod. So, it will change things the game, not just fix bugs. Also, some of the "bug fixes" are not bug fixes, but changing things about the game that the mod maker thinks should be in place. Such as not being able to loot Doc Mitchells house, or having Powder Gangers hostile before you take any action against them. Things like that.

YUP is a much better bug fix mod.
