I never use fast travel. As useful as it can be i hate it. I have an alternative.

Introducing the Pod Cannon from Vault Tec.


Build one at a settlement and climb inside the pod. Its essentially a giant cannon and the pod is the cannon ball. Once inside you can free aim and choose power then fire.

Alternatively you can use pip boy and "fast travel" to any location within range including markers you set. It will not land exactly there but will certainly set everything automatically giving best chance.

If you are out of range you will grt a message notifying you and will not fire until you select a location in range. Set up cannons at settlements to travel the commonwealth fast!


Impacting creatures or people causes severe damage to them probably killing them outright. Soon as pod touches ground it breaks open and you are on the ground unharmed.
