Simple enough. In Morrowind (yeah yeah I know), one dropped items by clicking their icon and then clicking outside of the inventory window. What was nice, however, is that these items would be plopped down
exactly where you clicked (assuming you were in range of them). It made decorating houses and the like nice and simple. Whilst I'm sure that the grabbing mechanic of OB/FO3 will continue to be improved in Skyrim, I personally would love it if we still had the option to place items in the world with great precision by simply clicking - as opposed to having to deal with the cumbersome physics while trying to drag the stubborn book or piece of pottery up onto the shelves.
It's a moot request, and with the new (seemingly) full-screen menu system I don't see it happening, but does anybody else miss this?
