pointers for someone coming back after so long

Ok, played the hell outta fonv last year but I put it down BC everything was all staticy and I could have the compass turned off but I alrdy knew what was where etc. well dammit its time to come back to one of the greatest games ever made. Buttt this season vet needs a couple of pointers.

One. I do remember an excess of points in my last playthrus and wondered...Do I have to assign all the points? I like to rp and it erks me that I may have to put points into something I want as a weakness. Ive decided to go with logains loophole to cut down on all the points. I was thinking about leaving my int at 5. Do ya think that would still be an mass amount of points still?

I want my guy as a lone westerner guy whos all shades of grey. He helps people out as long as theres a reward. Hes mainly looking out for himself and I havent decided if hes gonna be a mr. house guy or an Indie guy, but im mainly leaning towards Mr house.

was thinking of maxing out my guns and repair. Getting survival, science, lockpicking, explosives to 50 and maybe maxing out my melee. leaving speech and barter low to offer a challenge because my guys not really the social or friwndly type. Maybe get med around 50.

Sound like an ok build? With logains loophole and int of 5 will I be able to stay at those numbers you think?

You'll still get a lot of experience but you've pretty much nerfed yourself as much as possible without becoming a vegetable.

And the build sounds good.
