Poison doesnt seem that useful.

Sneakshoot is so much better with sneak perks, its not even close.Plus Alchemy takes a lot of time to just prepare for battle, i.e get ingredients. With the archery+sneak your always ready, and always do massive damage to anyone.

Alchemy= total crap in this game.

Theres a perk in the alchemy tree that allows two hits with a poisoned weapon. With a bow I assume that translates into two arrows. As for bundles of them, no. You can just add the poisons to your favourites menu though to do it quickly even in battle.

You actually poison the weapon. That is you poison the bow itself. You can poison multiple weapons and have them hotkeyed for quick equipping.

Not so. Alchemy is arguably the most powerful skill in the game. It is without question the most versatile.

I got rich off of selling poisons that I had concocted. I use poisons for making gold only, they are some of the most expensive type of potions you can sell.

You actually poison the bow - and could change arrows (after poison applied).
Cannot poison many arrows in advance...
I use that Damage Health 65 poison when one-shots are important.
Apart from that, poisons aren't critically important to me...
Would rather mix Jazbay + Red Flower + Moon Sugar!
Now there's a super Mage tonic for ya...

Obviously, you have the perks as well. But poisons are a good complement before you have high enough skill to take those perks.

As others have pointed out, you poison the bow. Then you can either hotkey the poisons (if you have many of the same kind), or open the menu between each shot and apply new poison. I never do that though, it seems cumbersome. I usually only use poison for the initial attack, unless it's a extremely tough enemy.
