poleaxe type weapons are not that different from spears

I mean

add a thrust attack and TADA their is ur spear

maybe Todd meant the throwing kinda spears :touched:

My point was for that table, it should have said two-handed weapons rather than polearms. As to what two-handed weapons you'll be able use, that's a discussion for a later date.


I could be completely off by this, but I think you guys are thinking a little too deep about what Gstaff said. Mostly though, he said it best when he said this is a discussion for a later date. So far there is no new information other than the bits and pieces and speculations that we had before. The article/diagram and Gstaff's comments neither proved or disproved anything. He simply pointed out that using polearms was a bad choice of words, regardless of whether they are in game or not.

On a lighter note, its not really surprising for me to hear that dual weilding shields is out. That idea seemed absurd from day one, lol. I also think that the fact that polearms was even mentioned in that article should be a good indication that for some reason someone writing that article and making that diagram seems to think they are in. That says a lot to me.

Or it could be a simple misunderstanding/poor research. Who knows.

Wow haven't been in this section of the forums for a while , even though it is old news to everyone else it is new to me. I am happy bout this.
