Guys, there is no safe indication yet. There are three instances of polearms people refer to. One of which could as well be a sword (the pic with the dragon), one of which is greyed out as if an abandoned idea or just there for decoration (the elven armor pic with the glaive-like weapon), and one of which is the long axe that might just be an unique weapon using 2h animations, only for that executor.
While it's not an offical confirmation, it's not so bad as you say either. First foremost, understand that the greyed out image is Armor focused. Greying out the weapon but keeping the posture of holding it is a very common concept art technique and you'll see it in many films and games. Armor and Weapon art is seperate but as I say, weapon posture tends to have an effect on armor design. It, traditionally, has nothing to do with removing the object from the game.
So. The Halbred is likely real and likely works. As does the Executioner's axe, even if that particular one IS unique to him. It's still run by Havok Behavior which means all of it's animations have been prototyped and can be synthizised at will. Then you have several full sized staves on top of the previously seen shorter versions. So those two handed animations have been blended as well. If you watch a bit of how Havok Behavior works, you'll be considerably more optimistic about the potential even these few images showcase.
