Police arrest owl for public drunkenness

German police have arrested an owl for public drunkenness. Police say they will release the bird once it sobers up, and no charges will be pressed at this time.

Drat. I was hoping that this would be the case Sal the cat was called in for. I doubt the owl and its defense would have been taken very seriously though. It would've been a kangaroo court.
