A lot of people, myself included, often equate them in their heads. But, technically, Britain includes England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

We forget that England's empire grew dramatically some time ago through the cunning use of flags. :D

Jamaican and American mainly. I might use them all for different characters though.

My mistake, correcting now. And adding Hispanic.

By "British" I mean English. A rather embarrassing mixup I often make in my head.

English as in?

OHH! Southern aristocrat. I get ya.
Being from England I struggle when peoeple say English or British accent, because we have hundreds and hundreds of accents. basically each town has it's own accent and dialect.

It's a well known fact that there is no such thing as an American accent. We speak the correct way; everyone else has an accent.

Awwwwwwwwww. There's no Hispanic/Spanish accent? What in the world? Hispanics make up a big group of the minorities (in the U.S.) and we aren't represented in this multicultural Ark?!

*sigh* I'll choose... American, British, Australian and Irish, I guess.

There must be a Spanish one

>MUCHOS BAD GUYS SPOTTED
>MUCHOS BAD GUYS
>MUCHOS

That's Spanish, no?

Definitely a Scottish accent for me, if there is one. If not, I'll settle with an Irish one.

Any non-Anglosaxon voice will do for a starter. :D

I voted Scottish

Now for the peeps saying that Scottish and British accents are the same....
all I can say is ouch! :shakehead:
You might as well say that American and Irish accents are the same.

Not really a big deal but when it comes to accents, Scottish is really a night and day difference from British.

My parents where born just outside of Helmsdale Scotland but I was born in the USA and have spent my far share of time in both England and Scotland.

A person from Scotland and a person from England could have a conversation but... they would have a very hard time understanding each other.

Besides... Scots can drink more then the Brits  (J/K)

On a second thought...

Can anyone confrim which accents we will be able to pick from?

Watching all the vids, I know that American and Irish are in game but what about the other 6?

Guess I will just have to re-watch all the vids again LoL

EDIT:
So far we have...
American, Irish, British, African and Jamaican.
That only leaves 3 more... guessing.... Russian, German and either Australian or something Asian.

You can also see the British accent opition during the http://brinkthegame.com/media/videos/?id=5 trailer with Paul Wedgwood.
http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6266353/brink-hands-on-impressions
"In the space of a few minutes we turned our character from a Mohawk-sporting, tattoo-wearing, chain-sporting punk into an Upper East Side prep-school kid with an off-putting British accent (yes, you can change characters' accents)."

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-02-28-brink-hands-on
It's oddly heartwarming to hear an American, African and an Irishman arguing over the finer points of their mission.

I agree with REVOLUZZER, if you watch the http://brinkthegame.com/media/videos/?id=2 trailer... starting at 0:42 the commander voice sounds Jamaican or at least I would place my bet that it's Jamaican...

British, American, Jamaican are in for sure.
Probably also Russian and French.

Just pointing out, Scotland is part of Britian, which would make Scottish a British accent.

Just pointing out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr7Opycx_yY, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew-SrlQ9tlI and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApzPnkrTI4c.

I thought that was the Jamaican guy?

And I think he says "mucho bad guise spotted"
