another thread asked about first/third person view and whether or not you played as female or male. im mostly curious as to the breakdown between guys and girls who play as females. if i had to guess i would say the ratio is 60/40 girls to guys. you can post why you play that way but im mostly just interested in the actual numbers themselves.

I'm female and play as female. I have seen plenty of guys post about playing female because they'd rather watch a female than a guy though. It just feels easier for me to play the way I want to play.

I usually play a good moral male..then i play as the hottest beaotch and evil female on the planet. I guess i like the idea of bandits thinking " look at that defenseless hot chick..ha ha ha" slice slice chop chop and bandit is dead.

I should also mention im a father to two girls so im all for girl power...lol

Do you mean play only as female or play as females as well? Because I play both male and female, just to mix things up a bit.

I'm a guy and I only play male characters in RPGs/MMOs.. there's no way I could RP as a female, It'd just feel wrong.

Where`s the "I play both" option? No, not a hermaphrodite. Sometimes I play a character who a character with a sword between the legs. Sometimes one who doesn`t have a one.

I mean...why? What will you gain by learning who plays as a girl and who plays as a guy? Just...why?

I'm a girl playing as a girl, but I have played as guys before in other games. It just takes so much time and effort to create a character in the Elder Scrolls that I at least want to start with my own gender first, and then if I have the brainpower and the will left I'll do a male character.

I don't think there's any way you'll get any useful information out of this poll, just because there are more male players than female, so that's going to skew the results.

As mentioned before, in order to get any meaningful information, it's going to require specific options, so that each answer will reflect player gender and character gender. Otherwise the results are going to be skewed toward male players no matter what, just because that's the way the sample is skewed.
