POLL: How Many Copies of SKyrim Do You Own?

Post » Sun Nov 30, 2014 7:02 am

I know Skyrim has sold millions of copies, but I am curious how many of those may be duplicates. I realize that when the Legendary Edition (with all of the other games) came out, many players ended up with another copy. I also realize that this is just a small smattering of the number players here on the boards

So, How many copies of Skyrim do you own?

[EDIT]

Also forgot to mention that I realize some players have a copy for their PC AND Console of choice :)

Two. The original release and The Elder Scrolls Anthology. I used to have several more, but I've been giving them away

Six copies, for my household. This ties my previous record of six copies of Morrowind.

Just curious, is that a copy for each person there, or just a "collection?"

Just the one from release day. I lost the case though. :shakehead:

If a 5th anniversary edition is released like Oblivion with extra little goodies than i might consider purchasing it again simply because i love the game so much.

Rhere can only be on! But I have two versions of morrowind one on pc and one for the 360. I bought the 360 version because I messed with the pc version and messed up my game with a couple of mods the sky turned into a rainbow color and getting rid of the mod did nothing. So I bought it for 360 to start over.

I have 3. The first copy got all scratched to hell a few months after purchasing it so I bought another. Then I bought the legendary edition when it came out... I know, I know, it's a waste of money to buy the LE when you already have the DLC's with the original version but, what can I say... I'm a collector.

I have 3 versions of the game guide as well... The original, the one that includes DG and HF and the Legendary Edition, haha. :D

I have the original game guide but i'm so tempted to get the legendary edition guide, it just looks so beautiful. The price is putting me off though but i guess the sheer amount of information that it contains justifies the price in the end.

One. At one point I had 2 because somebody gave me the LE as a gift but I already had all the DLC so I gave it to a good home.

Just one. I don't buy new games until they are pretty well sorted out and usually allow lots of time for that to happen. I stayed happily in Cyrodiil until Skyrim was patched up, the CK was out and robust mod library established, unofficial patches were out, DLC out and a smooth game set with all DLC came out. And I was in no hurry to leave Cyrodiil. It was actually more than two years after 11 11 11 that someone gave me the Legendary full set as a gift.

Three. Two for the Xbox and one for the PC.

One I bought on the Xbox 360 soon after the release at the end of 2011; the other came with my new Xbox when I bought a new one after my old one quit working.

I bought the Legendary PC version about a year and a half ago.

Retail box bought a day before release. Later I bought Legendary directly through Steam. Both are tied to the same account, the Legendry just upgraded my previous base game, so I'll count that as just one copy.

I also have a Skyrim-themed poster and T-shirt. I got both of them for free by attending to a meeting-interview with two well known actors who dubbed couple NPCs for Polish edition. They signed my box and poster, too.

One copy for each gamer in the house: myself, a Mom, her four daughters. We take the Elder Scrolls pretty seriously around these parts. ;)
