This question keeps getting brought up on whether other forms of pvp should be offered rather than just Cyrodiil and both sides seem to think at times that they speak for the majority. I would love to see the actual polling for support one way or the other by forum users.

Personally I do support more pvp options. Cyrodiil is fun but it's random, chaotic and a very different type of pvp than organised 4v4 pvp, which is also fun albeit different in that it is structured and a level playing field is produced for both participants. And arenas are so much a part of the Elder Scrolls that it would seem out of place not to have them in ESO.

I don't have any objections to PvE arenas (as in previous ES games) in ESO, However, I think PvP arenas would detract from the main storyline, which is all about the war between the factions and the races in each faction agreeing NOT to fight amongst themselves.

I understand your point but I disagree. Nothing says medieval warfare like a champions arena - where soldiers compete with one another to be crowned the best warrior.
