Some people don't like many good things. If it's actually good, it will add to the game. Period.

Radiant AI would be great. And I hope that Skyrim has it. But if it doesn't it won't hurt my feelings any. Just because well I love the Elder Scrolls series.

Is this an issue? Then I've missed something...

Anyway I personally can't see why someone would prefer NPCs to just stand still all the day :P
I want the world to be alive, so alive that I might just wonder if I'm the only single player in there.
I have high hopes for the new really radiant AI :)

Agreed. If it's good it eill add to it, if it's not, well then they messed up. I think they are able to pull it of, they are Bethesda after all. :obliviongate:

I think this is one of the things that really TES from other RPG's......and I like it. The fact that they are improving it can only be a good thing.

what exactly is this about?

the title says to RATE the RAI... which is impossible since the game isnt out yet...

...then the actual poll itself and your post are both saying whether or not we want RAI...

...that doesnt even matter, since its already implemented, they cant tear the game apart just cause 1-2 people hate realism.

i hope they keep developing RAI until it gets better and better, i love the fantasy-realism balance they go for in the games.

what, do you just want everything in the game standing still and not doing anything?

that may have been fine in morrowind, but i dont think it'd be very good for the way they're making the games now.

Lets ditch RAI and make all NPCs wander around only at the spot they that were placed at in the editor! Now that's progress!

Let's make a Poll if we want more polls and wich one we liked most (and wich one we don't want to see implemented in TES:VI).

Thas not radiant AI ¨%¨&%&*, that s schedule, not radiant ai.
radiant AI is about:
Hello i heard your dumb
ho yeah hows the day today.
Goodby
Gooby.

Radiant AI is about stupid conversations, goofy attitudes.
Now it will be about svckers meddling while you pass by, kids taking your stuff while you drop them on purpose or accident, or things that way.
i hope if we kill NPC they stay dead, and if we kill an entire dumb filled city, people stay dead.

Wait!!! now i understand why the gods want to end the world: Radiant AI !!!!! it started with Oblivion and now its SKyrim!!!

We're rating what we've heard so far about it and weather we want it or not. I DO want it and love the idea of it. This poll was made in response to someone saying it's a bad idea, I just wanted to see how many people agree with him. Apparently the question is no one at this time.

EDIT: Correction apparently 2 people don't want it so far. I'm shocked :P

Yes to radiant AI, why move backwards when you can move ahead? It makes the game so much more immersive and dynamic.

You've got to admit it was a drastic improvement to how games were before it, and even since it. We loved oblivion there is no need to dog on it now that something even better is coming out. It was a magnificent game.

Damn straight. What else was better at the time, you have to start somewhere and it can only improve.

Wrong, it was crappy and mindless.
What your saying is that all the mods that didn t use radiant AI feature svcks just because they arent voiced.
And anyway waiypoints follow was there in Morrowind.

So in the end, radiant AI is onlt randomized sentence voiced.
Even worse, becuase it does hold no interest.

Hey I'm not saying that it had mind blowing quest and hardships that I'd prefer, in this thread I'm only commenting on the Radiant AI aspect of it. My comment in no way contridicts my other thread http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1158575-a-hope-for-a-true-quest/

Oblivion didn't implement what we call "Radiant AI", it was scrapped due to time limitations in bug squashing.
From the previews I've seen in Oblivion's pre-release period, Radiant AI looks like a great AI system. While it's regretful they couldn't iron out the http://adamshrugged.com/money/radiant-ai-revisited/ on schedule, I'm completely assured that it will feature prominently in Skyrim, and will be a magnificent improvement.
What you saw in Oblivion was a very limited system of AI packages with schedules, and as you mentioned some canned dialogue. Please do not refer to this as "Radiant".
