Poll: TES Finales?

Post » Sun Dec 12, 2010 5:24 pm

I'd like to see it end in Akavir or one of the unknown continents, with a large scale battle between the Aedra and Daedra. Possibly with a resolution to Lorkhan's story.

You re-activate the Direnni Tower, Akatosh's colossal adamantium spaceship, and then embark forever on a psychadelic journey through space and time listening to Rolling Stones music.

Either that or go on a (get ready for it...)

CHIM is basically when you discover the TES Construction Set and rewrite/retcon any element of the TES universe that you want. Like when Tiber Septim modded Cyrodiil into a temperate forest. :spotted owl:

The realization that you are just one small part of the dream of a schizophrenic Godhead, and that you therefore do not exist as an individual being, typically results in disappearing from the world. CHIM is this realization coupled with the wilful retaining of individual identity ("the ability to say 'I am'").

Other: TES series do not end.

This.

If Bethesda stops making them... Well then some other company should! But really, TES cant end. There are thousands of years of story before the events here. And there will be (hopefully) infinite thousands of years of story after the events here.

What's not special about it?

It's one thing to say "Oh, okay, I'm part of the Godhead. Whatever." It's entirely another to actually realize that, i.e. make that real to yourself. It's not at all easy or simple.

At the end, the Gods kill everyone and remakes everything. Allowing Bethesda to create more TES games.

Precisely. Poll is utter nonsense, only lesser games end.

It was a hypothetical. As in IF it ended... :flame:

Some of you guys aren't getting into the spirit of this thread. "SERIES DOESN'T END." But it has a story, it has lore, it has ways that it COULD end. That's what this thread seems to be about. How would you WANT it to end if it was going to?

When we have exlored all of nirn, then I think that the elder scrolls would get an awesome ending. However, even if a tes would take place on a place such as cyrodiil, morrowind and skyrim in one map, set 500 years from the events of Skyrim, it would feel new because new NPCs, new buildings, cities move and change everything changes. the potential for endless games is.. endless!

I voted OTHER, because It will never end...due to the moneymaking success of the series.

These are just some ideas I thought would be good. If you pick 'Other' comment below!
:tes:

why would you want to kill daedra lords? they are the most awesome beings in tes besides your player character!
