if your haveing alot of freezes then drop the current follower and send them back to their town go adventure on for a bit then go back to get the follower , it work for the godly amount of freezes i was getting with boone, another with save file being corrupted try not to save going in and out wait or sleep and apone entering and exiting areas , do not reply on auto saves , never trust what you dont do yourself life in general follows that. save often yes poor game if you do it more then ten minutes everytime but i have only once had a corrupt file cause of auto save not the save files them selves, so yeah game on i havent had a problom with that other then boone freezing my game up , got rid of him then got him back seems to work fine for me.
The problem most 360 gamers are experiencing, and the one being discussed here, is not game crashes or freezes, but save game bugs. It also doesn't matter if you do manual saves for the most part. Manual saves helped me when I first got the glitch because only my autosave was glitched, but it can randomly infect one or more of your manual saves as well. Many people have their autosave and one of their manuals blocked, while some have all 6 or 7 or more of theirs blocked because of the glitch. The number of saves it infects seems to be random on a case to case basis.
I just got it, the only save I have working right now is way back from 4 or 5 days ago. I'm wondering if this "DLC not found" crap has to do with trying to mod the Weathered 10mm Pistol so I think I'm gonna start over and NOT mod that gun. Its pissed me off royally but the time I've had so far was such a blast that I can't bring myself to get rid of the game yet.
It has nothing to do with modding the pistol. Modding the pistol makes that square with the exclamation appear, but does nothing besides that. In fact, many people who don't even have the DLC still receive the same glitch message.
