The hottest topic in this XBOX 360 forum is the "corrupted" (hopefully not) savegame bug that yields the "DLC not available/storage device no longer available" messages. Let's give Obsidian on how serious this bug is.

Never had the save bug, and i've played 30+ hours

The poll is for people who have encountered the bug. We want to show Bethesda that it truly is a game-killer, ie. people will stop playing the game. If you haven't encountered the bug (yet), I'm happy for you. I've encountered it twice, and if the save files truly are corrupt, then I've lost 10 hours of game play and my copy of the game goes straight to the after-sale market.

yes it has stopped me from playing the game and if a patch doesnt appear to fix it within a week i will take it back and getting a refund

You're misunderstanding the purpose of prioritization then. A High priority bug is one that affects a large portion of users. You can't figure out said portion without having a list of people who haven't had the bug.. and considering it's one of the ones affecting most of the people posting on here it's not exactly scientific poll anyway. But have fun with it

Uhhh I'm pretty sure that almost all of the recent posts are about this problem. Start with this page and go back and just read the titles of the posts, there are a bunch about this problem.

I had stopped paying but if you just avoid doing the come fly with me mission then I have had no issue so far....*crossesfinger*.... Ive had other bugs though that could be game breaking....see link http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1128971-new-bug-interrogation/. If you don't have backup saves it could be just as infuriating as the DLC save bug.

I lost all my saves files to the corruption, but instead of waiting for a patch i used the infinite XP glitch in vault 11, got my char back to level 14 and avoided the " come fly with me " quest ( touch wood ) its been fine all day, i suggest others do the same if you had less than 10 hours playtime before it corrupted, dont wait for the patch go boost your level back and enjoy the game, its good aside from that bug.

Good to hear. However, I did not do the "Come Fly with Me" quest, and still got the error.

Wow...thank God I was overwhelmed by the Nightkin and opted to save the "Come Fly With Me" quest for later.

i am stuck in gamorrah casino because the strip freezes. i also have had a corrupt save. im not even touching the game until they patch it, im not going to have another 42 hours put into it for nothing.

I find it very weird that a vast, VAST majority of people experiencing the DLC glitch are getting it while doing/after doing the Come Fly With Me mission, and yet there are still some people getting it without even getting near the quest.

I encountered this annoying bug yesterday, I was currently 20 hours in at level 14 making my way to the caravan quest that cass recommends, on my way over I wandered into fiend territory and ended up inside vault 3 I believe. I spent an hour and a half in there since my last manual save. There was an auto save upon entering the vault. So anyway I make my way to motor-runner or something and save my game after talking to him. Then after the save I decided to blow his head off. After I killed him a mission failed (cant remember what mission) text popped up and I decided to reload the game to before I killed him. That's when I got the error dlc/storage can't load. I tried about 6 times to load it with no success and I then tried to load the previous autosave but that was a no go as well. I had about 10 saves total so I went down the list to the next closest save to the point I was at. It turned out to be 2 hours away and 2 levels behind, I was pretty upset and put the game down, came back 4 hours later and just played from the
save that worked. This is very frustrating especially to those that have put time into their character and missions. But most of all I am reading that the game can at any point corrupt again, so there is this fear of losing hours of work/play. This needs to get fixed!

This is why I stopped playing. It could be easy enough to do that Vault 21 glitch to get back to my lvl, but then I'll just have to do all the same quests over again, and there's no guarantee that the DLC glitch won't strike even if I avoid the Come Fly With Me quest. So I think I'll just sit on my hands and wait to either return it or until they get a patch to fix this.

I'm 34+ hours in. Given I've got working saves at 32 hours, what's the point of progressing if my file is going to get corrupted at some point when I save, anyways?

I was only 6 hours in... Very happy for that! really hope 30+ players don′t loose their saves

38 hours in, level 26, dlc loading glitch.... EFF MY LIFE AND EFF BETHESDIAN. This game would be Top 5 All Time if it weren't for the glitches. Maybe Peter Molyneaux(guy from Fable) paid JE Sawyer off to put out Fallout: New Glitchfest to convince people to buy Fable 3? I doubt it but alls I know is I'm pissed and my week of vacation at work is wasted unless a patch is put out quickly.

Those are the relevant specs to my computer. Plays Fallout 3 beautifully, ultra detail, amazing. Purchased NV from Steam, played it the first day it came out. So disappointed with the performance (NPC thing) that I went out and bought the 360 version. Was so happy that I could actually enjoy the game, I was feeling like such an idiot for buying the PC version so soon.

Then I find out it's something to do with drivers, and that's why the PC version is virtually unplayable for me. I figure fine, my loss, I'll do my second play through on the PC then to get my value out of it...

THEN the 360 version eats its own rear end and now my save games don't load due to some bogus "DLC" error. SO, as you can imagine I am absolutely frustrated with this and hope to god there's a solution to either 1) the first issue on PC or 2) a fix to correct this DLC issue with my 360 save games.

I was really really enjoying this game and looking forward to sending those mutant freaks to the moon on their new rocket ship.

Anyway, that's my rant.

if your haveing alot of freezes then drop the current follower and send them back to their town go adventure on for a bit then go back to get the follower , it work for the godly amount of freezes i was getting with boone, another with save file being corrupted try not to save going in and out wait or sleep and apone entering and exiting areas , do not reply on auto saves , never trust what you dont do yourself life in general follows that. save often yes poor game if you do it more then ten minutes everytime but i have only once had a corrupt file cause of auto save not the save files them selves, so yeah game on i havent had a problom with that other then boone freezing my game up , got rid of him then got him back seems to work fine for me.
