Do you prefer visible quest markers (guided questing)?
Or do you prefer more challeging ''explorationable'' questing?
Or is it something in between (depends on a situation)?
What is your oppinion on toggle-able (on/of) quest markers?

@ ib hester: I feel the same way. Sometimes i prefer getting help/tip when im stuck on a quest, the a quest marker would be handy tool then. But mostly i prefer doing the quests on my own, find and finish them on my own, those moments i do not need a quest marker. Seeing quest markers for everything makes me feel like a zombie, brain set to zero. I want to think and search for it
Every single aspect of the UI should either be toggleable or hidden independently of each other.
Quest markers of all types. Telling me where to go and even showing me on my map is acceptable. Beyond that, I don't need nor do I want to be hand held. If I need to meet someone in RL I'm actively out to directly respond to the environment to make it to them.
I don't want red dots telling me an enemy is in front of me.
I don't want icons on the compass showing me there is a cave over there. I want to find it myself. That's one more piece of content that I will find on my own or at a later date and be just as excited about it two years from now.
I have more clarity and sound of mind when after I can become distracted and turned around- or I am zig zagging around terrain, I don't have to search for the right quest marker again.
It would be great if we can toggle these, or atleast 'highlight' specific ones.
