The purpose of this poll is to know how efficient has been the Kick System . The vote kicking function is console commands. It's not a GUI type .

patch 1.4 really did mess up the game for me

I know how to use the feature but haven't had a need to yet!

Well, today found a cheater & issued the votekick, We were nearly 16 on the server, 5 of them voted correctly while 3-4 of the wrote it on the chat (global chat). I guess that they didn't know how to open the console & write vote.

If Crytek can put something like this " Press F1 to YES & Press F2 to No", it will be a lot easier

I tried to use the vote to kick command today with no avail. All I would get is an unknown command message, after I typed it into the console. The person I was trying to ban was an obvious cheater. He was stealth 100% of the time, even while shooting, and was able to clip through walls and move outside the level boundaries. Being a capture the relay type game, it was totally unfair because he would just continuously run the relay and there was no way to reach him. Game after game it was the same, then ever more cheaters, with the same stealth hack, showed up on his team, and by that point I just left.
So as far as I know this feature doesn't even work.

I will add that option to the poll. and yes it is very frustrating when we are having a fun time and then some cheater appears . >.>

I agree, all the players online don't read the forums, so these players don't know how to votekick / vote yes to kick a player..

Lolz I added a new option and the votes were reseted. So please if you voted before do it again please.

Managed to kick a cheater who was firing his gun in stealth and infinite energy. But it took awhile to kick 'em as some people don't know how to vote.

Thats interesting, you actually find 7 players who managed to kick you out of the server. Which message did you get when you got kicked?

I was having good rounds with 16-4 and sometimes 22-5 and then some of them started calling me cheater. >.>

We want GUI based vote/kick. Console based is simply difficult for many players and just damn right weird.

yea , this is my first time I heard about a console kick system . I just get used to it. We managed to kick 2 aimbots yesterday , the problem was , we had to explain how to issue the vote kick , fortunately we did it after several attempts.

F1 or F2 option would be nice, but I have had several successful kicks so far. We did have to explain to others how to vote tho. I think over a short time people will learn how to vote kick. The feature where u just type votekick (1st 3 letters if the hacker's name) then press tab works. You must use proper letters/numbers. Example: votekick n00b will not work if name is nOOb. Letters versus numbers.

Please don't make kiddy polls just to look cool. Just add 2 options and not 35, people will not bother voting and from those who do you cannot judge whether they liked the votekick feature or not with 35 vote options there.

Also, leave the clever/funnyman bits out. This poll idea might have actually provided some useful feedback or at least been interesting, but it ends up being another indulgence of one mans bias.

Vote kick feature is sh!t. Only the die-hard Crytek fans would know how to effectively use the console. There have been a few people that have tried to initiate a vote kick on me. Luckily most don't know how to use it. So I see that it is and will be abused. It has been lesser players that try to initiate a vote kick. Generally, a lower ranked player that hasn't yet had time to fully understand Crysis 2 game mechanics is the first to cry foul. Nothing beats a server that has multiple admins that can help to root out the cloaked shooters and speed hacks. I would like to welcome anyone that can ping 175 or lower to visit the Synergy Gaming Team server. Synergy Gaming Team server is monitored by multiple admins and has an auto ping kick set @ 175 to make a more pleasurable gaming experience for all.

I could have made ??the survey more simple but the results would show no specific reason in the success or failure of the system ( Like , Yes or No), so I put several scenarios to determine which was the reason. I am interested in the topic because I do not like how it works, but maybe to another this may have been useful.

Yea , I saw many times some people abusing this feature only because they do not like some another player or they think someone is cheating/hacking . and some people initiate the kick vote against who has above 500 ping . I am not sure how accurate is the ping because I saw players with 860 and 999 , thats too much xP

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! I now spent most of the games just persuading some kid noobs to kick obvious hackers, but without any luck!!! They don't know how to vote, how to open console.. if I try to explain they don't listen.. it's pointless! Tried to votekick speedhacker in Lighthouse (was doing the whole map in about 5 seconds) - no success, tried to kick several aimboters (headshots in mid-air, through foliage, DSG no-zoom while running) - no success, etc..

Simply put:
Votekick system needs GUI:
1) choose player 2) choose reason -> Kick XYZ for ABC? F1: YES, F2: NO
Or it is absolutely useles in this cheater infested **** game!

Why YOU in CryTEK just keep coming with more fail? Why you can't get things done right so players can actually enjoy it?

Hope to god this is just Crytek's temporary solution while they make an easy to use GUI.

My favorite thing is that several of the hackers have created a spam for the votekick system so hackers can kick whoever they want, but you can't kick them.

Really, patch 1.4 is a giant joke. The total amount of changes made since 1.0 to 1.4 BARELY count as a "1.1" patch. A console command vote kick really continues the feel that Crysis 2 is still in beta, and they're just testing new features (in a beta you wouldnt make a GUI for a new feature).
