Poll: What skills do you find yourself using most?

Post » Fri Dec 20, 2013 5:15 am

I would have to say I take advantage of all of the combat skills to switch things up. I lean to One-Handed more than Two-Handed because of the diversification.

My second choice is whichever defense I go with. Currently Heavy Armor.

Third, I would have to say the crafting skills to boost my character.

After that, I find sneak and Illusion to be good tools.

Then I would prefer all of the magic schools that I haven't mentioned. They come in handy.

The rest that's left over are just extra.

As a roleplayer I use whatever skills are most appropriate to the character I am playing.

I go through atleast 2 characters a week. I haven't used Restoration for months and I don't use Pickpocketing much so I ticked all but those 2.

I normally make use of Smithing, One Handed, and Restoration.

The rest depends on the character.

I think all my characters have used Alchemy, almost all have used Smithing, and most have used Enchanting. However, unless I really decide to specialize in it, I don't put more than a couple of perks in Alchemy and Enchanting.

For the rest of the skills, I find myself using Sneak and Restoration over and over again. I rarely perk those skills much though.

Well, all my characters use Speech, but that's the cheat answer.

Sneak + Alchemy would be the skills that I find it difficult to not use across the widest range of characters. Alchemy, because of its versatility, and because I like the "naturalist" aspect of it. Sneak, because I just can't imagine playing a character that would wander through ancient ruins without trying to keep quiet.

I find most my builds use One Handed and/or Destruction, and Heavy Armor nowadays.

All physical skills save two-handed and pickpocketing. Enchanting only.

Priority: Archery, Smithing, One-handed and Block.

Shame dancing isn't a skill in Skyrim Sir.

Mesmorise Draugr by river-dancing into Ansilvund popping fools left and right.

+25% bonus for Mer please Beth. Bosmer females have such dainty little feet.

It depends on the type of character. I tend to make traditional builds like pure warrior (HA), pure mage (robes), rogue (clothes), spellsword / crusader (light armor) & ranger (light armor) and I try to make skill combos unique from one another so that way every character feels different and offers a unique play experience.

Characters that are all-rounders who perfect in all areas will always feel the same.

I voted Smithing, Light Armor and Archery.

My characters tend to be hybrid types and Light Armor works well for that.

Though I like all types of crafting, Smithing is a must skill for all of my characters, even my mages.

Archery. Just love this skill so much and am finding myself enjoying the crossbows added by Dawnguard, although long bows are my number one favorite.

Oh yes, forgot about that. All my characters take up to the perk that makes it possible to trade anything with all merchants. It's so hard to sell things after a while otherwise!

Oops! Totally forgot about speech, too. All of my characters take the speech perks up the left side. Crucial for trading.
