You should add Matchmaking to the title as well as this is a huge issue which also influences lag (poor host selection, no regional filter ) and other things.

Agree because the MP is a more common issue.

Only ever had the grain in MP, not often, but it still svcks. But it's not the real reason I won't buy the DLC until there's a fix. I voted "No" not because the grain bug is too annoying, but because by fixing it Crytek would at least show their willingness to improve their imperfect product, as well as take customer complaints into consideration. It's more of a principle thing: if they fix at least one of the problems everyone's been clamoring about, there might still be hope for the real detriments of the Crysis 2 experience, namely the MP lag and connection issues. As much as I enjoyed the campaign, it's the MP that in my opinion has the most unrealized potential for greatness. I only got the game a week ago, but of all the freakishly annoying things that happened to me playing MP, I'm pretty sure 90% can be attributed to lag. I can live with the grain bug, distorted sound, two musical tracks at once, even the version mismatch cowcrap, as long as once I get into a game I can actually enjoy it.
As someone on here already stated, it's mind-boggling that I feel myself yearning for the stability and coherence of the MP-demo while playing the allegedly "finished" product.

If it works, Crysis 2 is great. Sadly, it so rarely does.

Oh, and one more thing, Crytek: If you, as Germans, honestly chose to make a game in English, then use a third rate translation program to transpose (for this was no translation, mind you) the English word-by-word into your very own language with complete disregard for aphorisms, common expressions, metaphors and grammatical constructs and an utter lack of proof-reading, I would strongly advise you to stop catering for the German market altogether. It's nothing short of embarrassing.

I'm so sick of hearing about the grain glitch. I didn't even realize the game had it until I read about it 100 times, saw a quick video clip, played, almost forgot again, and then went "hmm.. oh, that's that grain thing.. I guess?" and kinda laughed. Seriously guys... SMH

Just because you are stupid enough to accept unfinished goods isn't our fault my friend. If you want to accept mediocrity then that's your prerogative - we aren't going to accept Crytek releasing a game with a bagful of problems and will complain accordingly until they actually get it to a state it should have been on RELEASE DATE.

It's now 8 weeks and they still haven't patched the Grain Bug OR the shambolic Network Connections (Lag) - this isn't good enough.
