You should add Matchmaking to the title as well as this is a huge issue which also influences lag (poor host selection, no regional filter ) and other things.

I've seen it once or twice in MP.

I only noticed it effect MP only after it occurred in SP. I deleted my SP save and it hasn't happened in MP since. So I think it must happen in SP first and be saved then it will effect MP. Either way I HAPPILY bought the Escalation DLC for Black Ops and First Strike. But this DLC I will not buy until they deal with this problem. Crytek has demonstrated some of the worst community support I've seen this era of gaming for such a successful company. Treyarch even leaves them in the dust. Check out their official Black Ops forums and from day one they updated the community constantly about what they had done, are doing, & WILL DO. Crytek simply tells us the contents of a patch POST release. This is not 1997 crytek!!

I know my answer. Hell no! Fix the grain glitch and then maybe I'll consider giving them more money.

Probably because you never play the SP campaign.

At least Black Ops' new maps don't have identical geometry with its campaign.

sorry they need to fix a whole lot more than the grain bug to get anymore cash from me, like the whole effing game. I think they haven't been reading the bug reporting threads, you know the ones that say the game is virtually unplayable online for many because of how phucked up the mechanics and networking set up are?

When someone is actually where I am shooting like they appear on my screen, and I don't get dumped every host migration or for no reason at all, and my nano armour does something other than make my screen look cool around the edges, like protect my head from randomly sprayed shots, my grenades explode when thrown and don't disappear when I die. and my JAW actually does something, and they fix whatever they did in the last patch that completely phucked up my controller sensitivity and well everything that is so obviously wrong with C2.

And maybe make the MP like the game we played in the DEMO, the game we all thought we were buying, and then maybe then I will look at the maps. But that's probably all I'll do, because honestly? After seeing how much of a mess the Main game is, would you really expect the addons to be any good and functional?

And hell any lobby you joined, you'd only see Wall Street and Pier 17 anyway lmfao!!!!!!

It affects MP too (after a couple hours).
I absolutely won't buy it until they fix it (and fix the sounds/lag problems too)...

If the grain glitch really only effects SP, why would the MP people care if it gets fixed for MP DLC?

This poll is retarded. *facepalm*

the MP netcode and matchmaking need addressed before MP dlc is released.

Because I'd like to play the SP portion of the game I spent $60 on. For now I refuse to and only play MP. But since the map pack requires more $ I will refuse to give Crytek more of my money until I'm able to enjoy both the SP & MP. See how that makes the poll not pointless? :)

75% not buying the DLC due to one unpatched glitch. Crytek and/or EA will definitely not like that stat.

I will buy it, crysis 2 is still my favorite game of the year, regardless of the issues. In fact i cant wait till the 18th, it couldnt get here soon enough. I have faith that the crytek team is working on the issues and not wasting time answering thousands of complaints in the forums. They likely have a team of people much like cry adam sending in reports of issues and crytek takes it from there. We just gotta chill for a bit folks, some of these things are not gonna be fixed so easily, and if you really are any kind of fan of crytek and crysis 2, then buy the DLC and help support the hard working folks at crytek. You wont be dissapointed.

i really enjoy this game. the grain glitch bugs the **** out of me, but ive played the campaign twice and dont find it a big deal. mp on the other hand, i know could be such a huge game for people to play in, but the net code really needs to be focused on and fixed. so i will not purchase any dlc until the netcoding is fixed. i refuse to put more of my harde earned money in the machine when all it does is smash my fingers!

Thankfully I've never experienced the grain bug..... Knock on wood. But i have experienced so many other bugs, along with the horrible connections. I'll be willing to pay for the new maps once they put more time into fixing what is already here rather than putting time into making more money. So no, i want a patch first. And also, I'd enjoy something with different geometry than what is in SP. I don't know if the map pack is all new maps or just stuff taken from SP but I'm hoping it is all new.

I have experienced it. Its not that bad. No need to get obsessive about it, like all the whining kids in this forum.
