Pretty straight forward, if given the opportunity, would you support the Enclave?

I would just to experience the story line but if i only had one choice then no i would not. There may not be a real evil in fallout but when i see what is done i can only think of the enclave as evil.

Sure, they have a plan for the future and even thought they might not be the nicest people around; their at least trying to rebuild humanity.

Even if I didn't last long,id fight them tooth and nail. They are essentially the remnants of those who [censored] everything up. Therefore any rebuilding of the human race they plan on is a slap to the face.

Right, the Glory that oppressed the American people annexed the innocent people of Canada and imprisoned and tortured Chinese people. The Glory that sent the world into a fiery end, the Glory that instead of putting funding into the economy and helping its impoverished people spent that money on weapons and technology in a war that spent more resources than it gained.

Is that the Glory that is worth the sacrifice of innocent lives?

Aside from the BoS,at least the other factions are moving forward. The enclave only wants to return to the past they ruined.

Some may say it was the people that drove humanity to nuclear apocalypse but it was over resources and not enough to go around, but with the enclaves plan this could be resolved.
And with the enclaves power and tech we may find a permanent answer.

the way I see it, us consumerism culture,telling the rest of the world to [censored] off and the battle over the last oil field were huge contributors to the great war. Us policy shaped the great war. I also dunno that we can use the resource wars and the great war synonymously. But.. that's just the way I see it.

Resources were scarce so the Chinese invaded Alaska to get one of the last remaining oil fields. The US retaliated pushing the Chinese out of Alaska and then invading China itself. When US soldiers neared Beijing the Chinese launching their nukes, America launched back, and everyone else with nukes launched too. So basically the resource wars were just the precursor to the Great War.

let's not forget why the Chinese invaded Alaska. The very location of the enclave rig was where the chinese were setting up to drill. The us sabtaged that effort and set up the rig.

Yes but after beating Alaska there America continued to attack China. Putting enough pressure for them to launch nukes

No I'm just saying blaming the whole thing on China isn't right. During trade talks America refused to sell to China.

If we were given the option in Fallout 2 or 3 I would have for role playing reasons. Other then that I am not crazy about them. I hope they aren't in any future Fallouts... let them die already.

No they didn't. China invaded Alaska to take the remaining supply of the World's oil. And when America fought back they ended the world.

. We can agree to disagree if you like,but if the US hadn't sabotaged the ocean oil field,taking it from china and setting up the oil rig,china wouldnt have needed to invade alaska looking for oil.

Okay, just read on the Fallout Wiki about the Oil Rig being over the last pockets of oil. Who knows what would happen if the rig wasn't built? But let's just agree to disagree.

Because they had the means to create a safe world.
