POLLDISCUSSION - MemorableNotable NPCs

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 9:25 pm

Hi all,

In a personal project (will be announced eventually) I need to identify the key NPCs in MW/TB/BM. Since the game is massive, and there is a lot to do, everyone has different experiences.
So, discuss/list what NPCs are the most important, memorable, unusual, etc, etc

TIA

Crassius Curio, Divayth Fyr, the Dren brothers, every faction leader, especially Gentleman Jim Stacey and Trebonius.
Fargoth, Big Head, Azura's preistess with the vow of silence, the horribly unused Sorkvild the Raven, Umbra, Deselle, Jobasha, Mehra Milo, Nels Llendo. Can't think of anymore atm.

Add that man-hater Dratha for Telvanni. Also the wise guys like Beladas Demnevanni and Aryon.

Above all, although not technically NPC, Vivec.

Some others not yet mentioned: Ilmeni Dren, Ra'Gruzgob (the Orc who thinks he's a Khajiit), the creepy Khajiit that takes you to Solstheim by boat, Louis Beauchamp, Eno Hlaalu.

Pretty much all the talking Daedra (although Creatures, not NPCs).

Yeah I really think there are a lot of memorable NPCs.

Vivec might be the most unique, most 'gray' protagonist in the history of gaming though.

Spoiler
I forgot about Wulf too. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Wulf There are a couple of other incarnations of the nine divines, but Wulf is the most memorable.

Agree 100%. Such a well designed character.

Also, we've forgotten Baladas Demnevanni.

Misread that and it was still a right statement.
He's not that gray actually, but he is portrayed as if he were, and yes, best character, at least in video game fiction.

Helseth
Barenziah
Jiub

Azura. By far one of the most memorable characters in TES overall.

I don't know why but when I first think of Morrowind(well, Solsthiem stings in the back of my brain for some reason like a bad memory) is that one Nord who's offended that you're helping to build the post of Raven Rock and stands in the way of the mining door just because when you kill him, he says a curse that is put on you or something like that and spawns away with light effects like some god teleported him to somewhere else or the next plane. For me personally, that guy is a given in memorable characters. That one Nord aside though, I think Vivec and of course the player-Nerevarine.

My most memorable characters...
Gentleman Jim Stacey - I adored this guy!
Caius Cosades- A bit weird, shirtless and with a skooma pipe nekst to his bed..
Divayth Fyr - Awsome guy, awsome armor, awsome tower and the keeper of my Savior's Hide armor..
Sotha Sil - Clock work guy with lots of fun toys
Almexia - What she did to Sotha Sil, Psyco woman.
Mistress Therana - It's quite cool just how crazy a person can get..
Barenziah - The old lady let me use her as bait
Umbra - Awsome Guy
Wolf - The truth about this guy suprised me the first time I played it.. Really cool..

( Name edited, CC to other CC, so many NPC so bad memory  )

You're thinking Cosades not Curio. Curio is that nice pervy guy who calls you muffin, Cosades is the Blades dude.
