If you have good connection the game runs fine.

Host Migration doesn't work, it's basically adding on a unnecessary 30 seconds before you can actually leave the game. But yeah, the I'd say that host selection is the primary reason why this is not living up to my expectations.

If you have good connection the game runs fine.

If only it were that simple. You can have a 1million Gbps fibre connection but it'll still suffer from latency issues. How much you fit down the pipe doesn't determine how fast it reaches its destinaton i.e the host. Latency is very fickle thing, a lot things can be factored in.

Never going to happen, buddy. Console players are a lot more 'disposable' when it comes to their online games and they know that peer-to-peer hosting is the standard for online console play, why spend unnecessary funds?

Funny thing happened to me this morning... decided to rock a little mp...was lagging really bad as far as hit detection goes or whatever you want to call it... decided to start asking ppl in the lobby where they were from... san diego, colorado, washington state, etc. Now i promptly realised what was going on this game... im in NYC all the way across the country from these ppl... you're telling me that noone was on even remotely close to me? For god sakes i live in one of the biggezt cities in the world and have a so many smaller cities around me and i cant get a decent game. That i think is whats wrong with the mp... the matchmaking is garbage...they need to figure out what IW did with MW2 cuz i still get great games there with only 30000ppl online at a time.
