Popular mods you dont use?

Just interested in what popular mods you dont use?

Better bodies is one I dont like. Vanilla bodies have a ripped and shredded look, but BB makes me look chubby.

I've tried several texture mods, but prefer the gritty look of the vanilla game.

Hair and clothes mods I tend to avoid. Happy with vanilla.

Town expansion mods, I think the towns are fine as they are.

LGNPC, tried it, realised I dont really talk to NPC's in the first place.

Any groundcover mod I think doesn't suit Vvardenfells landscape.

Darker UI I didnt like because you cannot adjust the transparency.

don't use better bodies or associated mods either. the original bodies were ambigious enough for any age -- better bodies just looks wrong with most faces, and nudity is long overrated.with vanilla posture.

i also don't use julan for a lot of playthroughs. i let him get eaten by clannfear lol.

I'm quite fanatical about going by the book. If a mod makes new lore and it's not how I imagined it, I leave it. I have similar feelings about aesthetics. So I don't use visual replacers, LGNPC or Tamriel Rebuilt. I use the official mods and sometimes a couple of companion mods (Julan and Constance).

There are texture replacers for Better Bodies which show more muscle tone, although I don't use them because they look weird underneath vanilla heads.

While I think he is a really well made companion, I don't like all my characters hanging out with the same person and the questline is quite rigid. That's how I feel about Serana in Dawnguard, but I think Julan is more likeable anyway.

This is an interesting question. Personally, I use almost no graphical mods. No flora, no landscape enhancers, almost no texture mods (I use Darknut's textures for armor and weapons, because I love armor and weapons), and probably most egregiously, no Graphics Extender.

The reason I actually picked up Morrowind three years ago was that a friend recommended it, and I figured that my ancient second-hand computer I had gotten for free might actually be able to handle a game that was ten years old. I was right, although barely, and it swiftly became my favorite game ever, in no small part to its spectacularly unique design.

Now my family however shares a top of the line gaming PC, and I was excited to pump up Morrowind with all of the graphical fidelity that the fans have so lovingly rendered over the years. I was however very disappointed with the experience on a modern system. It seemed to me that the much higher resolution made the vanilla textures look dull and muddy. Easy enough to replace those as most do, but the replacements, while much higher in quality, simply looked wrong to me. It didn't feel like my Morrowind anymore. And the silky smooth framerate made me realize for the first time how stiff most of the movement is, with which I never had a problem before.

Yeah it is kinda cool to have grass and see further than the next hill, but to this day, I prefer to play Morrowind on my old system, low resolution, choppy framerate and all. This might be the gaming equivalent of Stockholm Syndrome.

I run almost 150 mods right now but there are still plenty I won't use.

Town expansion mods are something I'm not really interested in, I've tried them in the past and they weren't my thing, I prefer the vanilla setup of cities/settlements. What I will use though are mods that redesign cities based on their concept art, most of these anyways, I haven't used any Vivec redesign mods because I'm worried about FPS hit/overkill.

Lore friendliness is something that I find really important. Don't get me wrong here, I love all kinds of mods, great work is great work, I'm just really picky about lore. :P For example, I don't use any landmass mods other than Tamriel Rebuilt and the Province Projects. I had to convince myself Lythidonia is cool enough to try out, exited for that. For the most part though the other reason I don't play with most landmass mods is that I spend so much time exploring Vvardenfell, Solsthiem and the Mainland I barely would have any time to explore anywhere else!

I don't usually play with mods that add new weapons either for the most part, I find there are plenty of weapons in vanilla that I don't usually bother modding more in. Would like to try out more of these in the future though.

Head mods have to be close to vanilla/close to what what represented in Skyrim/described in books/MK's concept art. I really really like MacKom's heads, and the topology and framework is so easy to use and make new heads with, it's something I've been really happy with.

Not sure what else to mention here, I think I mentioned most of it. :)
