I've been playing a lot of New Vegas and FO3 as of late and making a lot comparisons between the two that I never really made before. A big difference I've noticed between the two game worlds is that population of non-hostile wastelanders in Fallout 3 is far lower than that of New Vegas. I mean, there are only like 3 real towns in the whole capital wasteland and about 4 total people to trade with. I know this was explained by the fact that the East was hit harder in the war but cmon. Do you think Bethesda will continue with this more desolate approach in the Commonwealth or will they follow New Vegas' example and disperse the population throughout many small settlements. In the trailer it seems that there is one large urban area abd this both excites and worries me. I'd like to see a real, large city in Fallout, but I don't want it to be the only populated place. It would fit the way the Commonwealth was described in FO3, however.
