Description:
This is a major overhaul to the previous gramophone mod,
one of the first animation mods
I made for Fo3. Its bigger, better, grander, has more records, includes all ingame radio
music and 2 tracks from the score, 12" records & 7" Records which you can take out of their jackets,
a better sale script, and no more menu screens.
Consider this an early release since I've been pushing it out the door due to
A: just want to get it out there
B: have more pressing things to do
C: taking a break from modding
so if you find any bugs let me know, I've honestly tried to remove them all but if any sneak
in there I'll try to fix them in the future. Also my Geck Render window is stuck where my
2nd monitor used to be so i have to place everything in Fo3edit using co-ordinates
which is rather slow so i Haven't placed many records in the game world, but there's a
small number in appropriate locations.
The gramophone is located on the table next to Alister Tenpenny, at the top of Tenpenny
tower, I couldn't think of a more suitable location. Also theres only one, you
cant buy this one since it works a little differently. You can buy records from: Moira,
Seagrave, Wolfgang, Tulip, Lydia, and Knick Knack.
How to use:
Ok its a bit more complex in nature than my last version, but also simpler and more interactive.
Drop the gramophone from your inventory and activate to set up. It needs a level playing surface.
Load a record via the container screen, which will auto close upon selecting a record.
Click on the gramophone to start it up, or shut it down.
Activate the arm during play to skip through tracks. The arm will auto update after you
return from a menu screen to correctly reflect its rotations relative to how long
you've paused the game.
Grab + Activate on the record to shut down and grab the record
Grab + Activate on the gramophone grabs the gramophone and record instantly
Activate a cover to remove a record from its jacket.
Grab + Activate a cover to grab the jacket or the record.
Upon entering your inventory it will automatically be placed inside its jacket.
Requirements:
Fose - weak excuses for not using it are not acceptable.
Future Plans:
-Tweak the scripts
-Turn the 7 inch records into rock-it launcher ammo
-Release a template pack and tutorial on how you can add your own records
Updating:
Download V2.0 only! no older versions are required.
Load Order:
Load the Esm high up in your list with the other Esms, load the 2 Esps lower in your list, simple. All 3 files are required.
